I decided at the last minute that I wanted to go back to the Smoky's over the 4th of July weekend. I couldn't find ANY campground with availability still, so I searched for campgrounds that had some first-come/first-served sites. While some of the sites at Cosby Campground can be reserved ahead of time, the vast majority of them can't -...

We camped for 6 nights here. Amazing. We were in love. We drove to all other campgrounds in the actual park and this was our favorite. Although they did not have running showers here it was still amazing for camping and our favorite of all camps in the parks. They are spread out a bit more than others and less...

This campground is clean, quiet, and beautiful. Not crowded at all, like the Cades Cove area. Right on a beautiful creek. Some nice trails leading right from the campground. The restrooms were nice and clean. My only complaint was a lack of showers.

This was a great campground with almost every spot shaded by mature trees. The trees also helped block out the rain which was helpful. It was quiet and we had no trouble finding a spot during the week. Tent pads were nice. Bathrooms were clean and close to most campsites. You cannot purchase firewood at the campground, so purchase ahead...

The sites were nice and wooded. We were there in mid May so we saw no one in check in. I am not a fan of no electricity no water etc campground only came here because of the couple we camp with. Everyone in our group loved it.

When we arrived we were greeted by the nicest campground host! Campground B was not open yet so we had to stay in A. We are tent campers and always try to find the spot that is away from everyone and quiet. Our favorite site was A20 but it was already taken so we stayed at A19. The sites are...

Just back from a great camping weekend at Cosby Campground. This was our first stay in the park and it was fantastic. The ranger in charge, Donna Whitaker, was really on top of things and made sure we were happy with our space and that we were having a good experience. We wish we could have stayed longer but will...

This is a terrific place to camp in the Smoky National Park. The sites are well maintained, spread out enough to provide privacy, and shaded by the tree canopy. There are flush toilets, sinks, and a dish washing station near all the sites. We camped here this Oct. and last Oct and both times the campground was respectfully quiet and...

We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it felt during out whole stay at Cosby. The location on the northwestern edge of the park makes it not ideal for traveling to other parts of the park, but there's plenty of hiking right there. Try the Hen Wallow Falls Trail hike, it was one of our favorites in the park. The...

We camped here from Friday July 17th until Monday July 20th. The campground was very nice and definatly gives you a secluded feel. I had gotten one of the reservation sites (B89), which was OK. My only complaint about this site is that you and your neighbor are right next to each other. When I stay here again I will...
