My two concerns when I am booking a hotel are safe area/cleanliness of the property/ rooms. I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but this Super 8 got better reviews than any others around it. I was impressed by the cleanliness of our rooms. Trust me, that is the first thing I look at when I get to my room. I couldn’t find a single thing that didn’t meet my standard. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have been in. It appears the hotel may have done some redecorating with new bedding and carpeting. Upon arriving and checking in the desk person wasn’t rude but I can’t say he was welcoming either. All business. However, the morning person Mary Jo was very nice and welcoming. Our King size bed was so comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The gazebo area near the pool could use a bit more attention as the tables and general area could have used some cleaning. Breakfast consisted of choice of pre packaged muffins and rolls but almost all hotels are doing that due to Covid. I absolutely will stay here if I am in the Crossville area again. Eating out tip- we had dinner at the Beef and Barrell and had a great meal for a great price.

We had a nice room at this hotel. It was better than the two previous hotels and probably our third favorite of the seven we stayed at on this vacation. The woman who checked us in was friendly and courteous. Our room had a TV, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, phone, newer bed linens and carpet. We liked having the fan on all night to drown out sounds from the hallway. They had the basic pandemic breakfast available.

The lady that checked us in at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite.
The room was comfortable and decorated very nicely.
The breakfast was exactly what they explained to me when I called and inquired about the room, so I wasn't disappointed when there wasn't eggs, bacon and biscuits.
There was a very musky odor in the room 1st floor. We had adjoining rooms and both were musky. I spoke to manager about the musky smell and she said that it has a musky odor because the cleaning ladies turn the AC units on 60 degrees when they clean the rooms and that is why there is a musky smell. I can't imagine that would be the reason, unless they were running all day long. I think they have a water leak that hasn't been addressed.
The pool was nice, relaxing and clean.
We were happy with our stay, price and location.

What a little diamond in the rough. Pulling into this Super 8 Motel was a huge surprise flowers everywhere cut grass nice other ornamental plants. We parked and went inside and the lobby smelled clean and appeared in order. The manager on duty was fantastic she made sure we had everything we needed. The next morning I went to the breakfast bar it was clean and tidy coffee was plentiful. The room was clean. We also got to meet the owner who was making sure everybody was having a good stay you could tell he took pride in his hotel. I would definitely stay here again

Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice room. Problem was that there was a party going on outside our room on a patio. From 1230 to 4 o’clock in the morning, there was a group of girls in the room next to us that fought. You could hear them cussing each other out and slapping each other around. You could hear it all the way down the hallway. Nobody did anything about it. When I said something the next day, The person at the desk said that if I would have reported it, it would’ve been taken care of. It is hard for me to believe that with a full house, nobody else heard it or reported it. It seemed like a party hotel.

Stopped here with my wife after a long day of interstate driving - just long enough to shower, sleep, and eat breakfast. This hotel met those basic needs with a clean room/bath, functioning HVAC, and an acceptable bed/pillow. However, the coffee was thin and breakfast offerings disappointing (a packaged danish or a bowl of cold cereal).

This could be a 4-5 star rating if the bed included a simple memory foam topper and two different types of pillows (some prefer a thinner/softer pillow than the one offered), and breakfast included better quality coffee and a hot option.

I usually stay at the motel a couple of times a year. Once in May and again in August as I travel with a bluegrass band. Have been staying here for years and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable and parking is readily available and easily assessable. The motel is directly off of Interstate 40 so there's an easy on and off to continue your trip. There's also a gas station/ convenience store directly beside the motel to stop, gas up, and grab a few snacks. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. Check-in and check-out is always simple and no one at the motel has ever refused a request. Anyone having a complaint about this property, I suspect, are incredibly hard to please.

I booked this Hotel based on it offered breakfast. when I arrive no Breakfast was offered and used COVID as a excuse to not serve Breakfast, all other hotels offered Breakfast, I had no choice at this point due to all hotel are booked full. I madder this reservation Weeks in advance. It's sad that the web site will lie to lure you in then use COVID as a excuse card. I was taken advantage off and will not forget this.

The room was clean and and everything worked properly except the sink. It was semi clogged and slow to drain. For the price paid a bit breakfast was in order, but instead I had coffee, juice and wrapped sweet rolls. A TV guide was badly needed as I had to guess where the stations were that I wanted.

It would be nice if the pool was open later than 8 pm. The two restaurants nearby closed at 9 pm. Traveling across country, I didn't make it to the hotel until 9 pm. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was friendly. I left early in the morning so I don't know what type of breakfast was offered
Highly recommend.

Dog friendly?
Answer from GM12803
We have pet-friendly rooms though they are limited in number. We limit the number of pet-friendly rooms to also accommodate guests who are allergic to our furry friends. We allow pets up to approximately 30 pounds each, a maximum of 2 pets per room, with a $15 fee per pet per night added to the rate for the duration of your stay.
