This place is in a very unique little town. It is clean and quiet here and we had no problems. John is very helpful and nice. Explained things about the town and area. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. Building front looked better in person than pic online. Would definitely stay here again. Lots of history here.

The hotel has seen better days... but the location is great. Very close to many trails and you can walk in town (4 streets total) and have a beer in a pub. The balcony makes a difference, it is nice to seat outside. The rooms are comfortable. If I was the owner, I would definitely invest money in renovating the...

We stopped there at about 11pm without a reservation, followed the sign on the door to find John who checked us in. He couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and had a charm like no other hotel room i've been in. The next morning we were blown away at the view hidden by the nighttime darkness....

Nestled at the base of the Cumberland mountains is this hotel. Outside door access only but affordable, clean, friendly staff. Each room has either a patio or a balcony. There's a little creek that's behind the inn. The entire town is walking distance from the inn. A great place to crash after hiking the mountain for choosing the local national...

Stayed for 4 nights. We were extremely happy with our stay. We had a great experience while staying in the Gap. Lots of hiking opportunities very close to the hotel. John was great to work with and is willing to help out the customers in any way possible. Would recommend this place if in the area.

We originally booked two nights in the Cumberland Inn but was so pleased that we extended an extra night. The Cumberland Inn is a comfortable, homey place to stay while exploring the Cumberland Gap National Park. The room included a refrigerator and microwave and a private balcony. We had a portable grill and cooked out a couple of nights when...

We arrived at 8pm without a reservation. Were pleased to find this. Very conveniently situated in this historic township. Is a bit cheap and cheerful but none the worse for that. Small stream at the back. Helpful and friendly manager with an interest in local history and having travelled around North America he had the self-awareness to say of the...

This was our second visit to the Cumberland Gap Inn, and we stayed for two nights. We had previously stayed there last year, and were happy with our visit. Although the staff members that we interacted with were very friendly, and the setting was beautiful, we encountered multiple issues with our room on this visit. There was no plug for...

We stayed here again this last weekend ( 3-24-16 thru 3-26 16 ) and had a good time. it is comfortable and clean. Refrigerators and microwaves in the room and a little balcony out back with a view of a small brook, and a covered bridge. Air Conditioner works great also.
