The rooms were very clean and well kept. The view was fantastic. The drive to the top of the mountain was spectacular. Food at the restaurant was good and the service was fantastic. Balcony overlooking the valley, fireplace, whirlpool tub and mini kitchen in every room. I recommend staying on the top floor for the best view.

Our Red Hat Ladies Group ventured out to McCloud restaurant for lunch. The drive up from Oak Ridge was beautiful even though the trees have still not changed their colors. After leaving the main highway you begin the climb up to the restaurant and lodge. We had 4 wheel drive but didn't have to use it. Upon entering the restaurant...

The food was very good. I had fried green tomatoes for my entree and my husband had a club sandwich and fries. Our meals were both very good. The service was good but there were only two other tables taken. The view is a million dollar view. You can see forever in both directions from inside the the restaurant.

The drive to the top of the mountain was twists and turns, but the view and food were worth the drive. The view is spectacular. The staff were all very friendly, pleasant and helpful. We had a dog with us and were permitted to order food for carry out and eat on the outside deck. They even asked if we...

This place is fantastic! Just spent this past weekend there and it was everything I had hoped. The rooms were well maintained and spotless with lots of high end features such as gas fireplace with an easy to use timer, 50" HD plasma TV in bedroom, heated tile floors in bath, gorgeous ceiling to floor tile shower, full size fridge...

We stayed one night at McCloud Mountain (we stayed in the Mountain Laurel room) with 2 other couples and really enjoyed it. We all had to pay an extra $25 per night because we only stayed one night. (I do not know what you would do here for 2 nights unless you are looking to unplug and do nothing). We...

Enjoyed our Saturday brunch and was taken back by the beautiful views of the valley. I read some of the other reviews and all I can say is ignorance breeds negativity. I had breaded chicken with biscuit, gravy, eggs and hash browns and paid $11, (the same as I would have spent at the Waffle House- but I go SO...

Four girlfriends and I enjoyed a beautiful day at McCloud Mountain. We arrived in the morning and walked around the property enjoying awesome views of the valley below. We visited the Chimneys Sky Walk where there are more awesome views. We enjoyed a nice lunch in the dining room with panoramic views. Desserts were delicious ! Our waitress was Jackie...

This place is fabulous! There's a short uphill journey to the location. The views are breathtaking, seating is spacious, and the food is delicious. I had the New York strip burger and broccoli cheddar soup. The burger was cooked to perfection. It is well worth the venture.

Recent 2 night stay was very nice. Rooms are spacious and views are spectacular. Rooms very clean and have an almost new feel. Rockers on private balconies are a nice touch or you can sit in recliners by the glass door and windows on windy/cool days or evenings. It was our second time to visit. Many improvements in the last...
