I was somewhat nervous about this motel based on many of the reviews. I was unaware that this motel was connected to the motel next door, and that people must check-in next door. No sign indicated that motel check-in was at the other motel. The motel next door had breakfast, but Travelodge guests could not partake in it. There was hot water and a television. The staff was friendly and I did like the gym at the adjacent motel. There was a large parking lot and a pool for seasonal use. The room was comfortable for a night’s stay. There was much noise from the nearby train tracks, and another guest banged on our door, since he mistakenly believed that we were his friends. The room was worn, but it was clean, and it was not expensive.

Very nice staff... Outside appearance needs alot of work... Hotel looked abandoned.. Definitely cld use sum fresh paint. And an office in the hotel instead of having to go to office of hotel next door to b booked in

In the town of Harriman, this is the cheapest place to stay. We just wanted to get some sleep and hit the road again in the morning. Didn't want anything fancy. The room was clean. But the pillows were useless. 4 people, 4 pillows, all flat as boards. We got no sleep. The mattresses are quite hard as well. Very uncomfortable. Bathroom area is kinda small for 4 people but for just one or two it would be fine. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. The A/C worked well.

I understand COVID has caused some changes...but I've traveled in the last 6 months and have not experienced the lack of amenities of your property. No coffee pot was unfriendly - but NO CUPS was down right rude. Paper cups are expected, especially as there was an ice bucket. In the past 30 years of travels, I have seen better service from a Motel 6 (or the local flop house) than were in this room. The linens were clean, but stained. The ceiling was bubbled from a leak somewhere, noises from either electrical or plumbing (we couldn't tell which) woke us up during the night. We had to check in at the Baymont (and that was a farce with a plastic drop cloth to protect the clerk) because the Travelodge office was locked. We never saw ANY Travelodge employees.

I WAS REFUSED SERVICE BECAUSE I AM ???, because I????, or because the owner????? I know not why.
I arrived. I politely and honestly answered the owners questions. My integrity was challenged and I was ordered to leave. I couldnt have a room. I became angry and then the owner cursed at me. I did not enjoy my very brief stay. I refuse to offer the fruit of my wares in exchange for shelter at any Wyndham establishment.

Never again will I stay at any Wyndham hotel. Not only did hotels.com charge me, the hotel charged me an additional 129.04. They claimed it was a security deposit. If anything, they should have paid me to stay there. The TV only got half the channels, the bed linen and the carpet had cigarette burns in it, the tub and floor was nasty and the air conditioner barely worked. The absolute worst hotel I've ever been in.

This was the worst travelodge I have ever stayed at. The room was filthy. The beds both had hairs everywhere on them and all over the bathroom floor. Microwave looked like it came from a dump. TV screen was smeared with who knows what. Dead bugs on the ceiling dont know what kind. Floors had not been swept in a long time. Security light outside blinked off and on all night. You could hear other guest banging doors and fighting. This place needs a miracle.

Nothing works everything is absolutely disgusting nor cleaned in years! No breakfast, no cable tv cable pulled out of wall, fridge didn't work, cigarette burns on bedding as well as nasty stains! Don't waste your money !!

If you are someone of ethenical background I do not recommend you stay here. Please go to a major city or keep driving to VA. I tried checking in because it was it was about 2am. I went in it was already sketchy because it no one was there, low and behold the front desk man, that attempted to check me in looked me up and down and looked at me as if I was in wrong place. He sucked his teeth and looked at me as if he was in shock I walked into his place of business. He asked my name, when he heard my name he looked at me and said Whaaat? What is that?? With an attitude. He looked at me and told me, "No I'm not checking you in." I told him sir, I already prepaid the hotel. He told me "well you're not going to get your money back." He stated he would check me in at 3pm the following day, I asked him where am I suppose to go then? He stated that it was not his problem. I did not want to aruge because I am a minority and I did not want any problems. I already felt I was being denied because the color of my skin. But I had already paid and was suppose to be in the room already. I could do nothing but cry in my car and thank God nothing else happened, because I had my family in my car and I was a woman of ethenical background. I hurried to the next exit. 10 min later a car pulls up beside me one man hops out touches my car and looks upset and the SUV with dark tinted windows pulls up and parks in the front me 3 rows down. But my sons father and his friend were in the parking lot too with their breaks on. So they didn't do anything. I have encountered a lot of things in my life but this hands down was the most scariest things I've encountered in my life. Please if you are not white don't stop here!!!!

I had a problem finding the property as it is part of another property. After finding the property there was a loose dog in the lobby. The dog was the owners dog. The check in clerk acted as if I was disturbing them and was insulted when I asked who the dog belonged to. I asked about the promised pool only to find out you had to walk through the parking lot then through the lobby to get to the pool which is shared with the Baymont hotel. The same with the breakfast.The room had 3 small pillows on a king sized bed. The thing that was the worst of everything was there were ants in the bathroom. I asked to check out early and was told I could then when I went to the front desk I was told I couldn’t. The same dog was in the lobby by the way. After arguing with the clerk I was allowed to check out. I asked for a receipt and that was a problem as well.
