We stayed at Motel 6 in Kingston on the saturday night of the Vanderbilt vs UT Football game in Knoxville. We were traveling from NW Alabama too cheer on the Commodores and decided too book there since it was not in Knoxville but not a long drive from UT either. For the value it was good, felt very safe at the hotel, rooms were nice except ours did have a slight smell but it wasnt overwhelming at all. The staff was very nice and helpful. For a one night stay after a football game it had all the things that were needed...Comfy Beds, a good TV, good AC, and a good bathroom and shower.....for what we paied too stay there....not bad at all.

We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly. The staff both evening and morning were prompt and nice. The room was clean although nothing special. I didn't see any huge problems. The property feels safe. There is a small cafe next to the parking lot if you don't want to get out for food. No problems at all.

We stayed for 2 nights while trying out a new mule. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good coffee available in the mornings. We ate breakfast one day at the close by restaurant and it was good and economical. I will be returning when I come back to pick up the mule. Cindy Price, Cuba, MO

We spent 2 nights in Kingston Motel 6 and the staff were very friendly and answered our questions with a smile. They have a microwave to warm a TV dinner or a cup of coffee in with a good size refrigerator to keep food and drink in. We really enjoyed the fact that there was free wi-fi. We enjoyed our stay and when we go back we will most likely stay there again.

I stayed here with my daughter last month when we moved to Kingston from Florida. We drove all day with the car fully packed, including the dog, and we were exhausted when we arrived. The woman at check in was not nice at all. We got a room on the back end which was great to take the dog to the grass, but a little scary. I had a black hair on my bed when I pulled the blanket down, the blanket had cigarette burn holes in it, and the bathroom reeked of smoke. I think someone above us must've been smoking but it was SO bad, like to where you feel like you smell after getting out of the shower. We just had to keep the door shut and barely open it to get in and out to keep the smell from escaping. The floors were a cheap wood laminate, which is about the only thing good I can say about this place. If it had carpet who knows what the room would've smelled like. I should've stayed at Super 8-it was more conveniently located but I thought they didn't allow pets.

This was a former Days Inn. The room was very clean and well appointed and looked like it had just been remodeled. The front desk people (day and night) were super nice and helpful. Wi-fi was excellent. The bedspread was a shock at first, but upon closer inspection it showed different Motel 6 locations - kind of "kitsch", but really 50's style, colorful and cute. As per usual, I inspected the bed for bed bugs (I'm kind of a cleanliness nut) and it was a new mattress and box springs. Very comfortable, too. Will stay there again on our way to Arkansas.

When we checked out, I commented to the desk clerk about how clean it was. She told me that most of the employees had been employed for many years, and the head of housekeeping had been with them 15 years. You can tell the employees really care, and it shows.

I stayed for a week and was very happy with the location right off the Interstate and yet quiet so I could sleep well. The manager was very courtious and helpful and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed.
The Desk people were also very helpful when I checked in and out.
They all made me feel at home.

Stopped here for a commuter stop on a cross country business jaunt. Used a coupon $41 for 2 people. This is an ex-urban location of Knoxville, TN. It is easy to approach from the interstate, but set back enough to be secure. Convenient to a restaurant (we did not try) and gas station/convenience store. Very pleasant front desk clerk, easy check in. The room was spacious. TV, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, blow dryer, pod coffee pot (terrible coffee). The carpet was dingy and musty. The room needed to be redecorated, very cheap structurally, doors did not fit properly. AC smelled moldy. Linens and pillows very low quality but appeared to be clean. Breakfast is terrible, do not count on it. Coffee in the lobby is terrible. Not a good value, try somewhere else. I do want to say again that the hotel host is very pleasant. I hope he can improve his property in the future.

I travel to the world's longest yard sale every August and discovered this hotel two years ago. It's far enough from the yardsale to be reasonably priced and the stafff are incredibly friendly!!

It is an older hotel but the rooms are clean, the pool is cool and and again the staff is friendly! The night manager remembered me in 2006 from my stay in 2005! It also seems to draw an eclectic group of guests - all friendly with stories to tell.
The breakfast is nothing to write home about but there are Hardees not too far away and I always look forward to having breakfast there!
I always feel safe here and as a woman traveling alone, that is very important!
