Discover the magic of refined country living at Whitestone! Located near Kingston, Tennessee on Watts Bar Lake with views of the Smoky Mountains, the 600-acre property includes a luxurious AAA 4-Diamond Bed and Breakfast, Restaurant, Wedding Chapel and Conference Facilities. Luxurious B&B Inn accommodations feature whirlpools, spa showers, fireplaces and canopy beds.
If you are looking for rest and relaxation, a beautiful setting, lakeside country inn with nice amenities, Whitestone Country Inn is it! Off the beaten path, very serene and awesome views, Whitestone was just what I needed. Sat on my veranda in the evening listening to birds chirping and sheep’s baaing, very soothing surroundings! The rooms are very nice and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is plentiful and dinner is delicious. I had a nice ribeye, strawberry-walnut-mixed greens salad, roasted baby potatoes and asparagus! The other choice was shrimp and grits and I heard other diners say the best they had ever tasted! Highly recommend Whitestone for a restful, relaxing, getaway with some good food!

A beautiful location for a wedding venue. Located above the river, provides a perfect photo backdrop. Be aware there is a steep walk from the parking area to the chapel. Staff were offering rides in a golf cart for those that needed it. It does feel like you are lost on the way; definitely off the beaten path.

I've been to Whitestone Country Inn a number of times over the years and it has its pros and cons. Some nice things are the property is quite lovely, the inn is pretty out of the way (I'm used to in-city inns...) and thus provides a type of peace and serenity you simply won't find in most 4 and 5-star B&Bs in many cities despite what privacy they may provide. The place is large and has a good number of room options, though I don't think quite as uniquely diverse as one may encounter at an older place or some of the more unique inns around the country. That said, I have spent more to stay at inns that lack nearly any creativity, unique aesthetics or room to move around in, so I'd say this is well above average. The dining is not limited to merely breakfast/brunch as in many places, which is appreciated by any hungry late arrivals (which included me once). The food is very good, but I'd say not outstanding in any noteworthy way. There is or are some special hard to acquire (at times) private suites that are separate from the main rooms, and one such is accessible via locked gate only and has a comfortable and easily romantic outdoor jacuzzi. You pay for it, but it's not more than you'd pay for most similar 4-star+ amenities. It's hard for me to put a finger on what really keeps me from giving this 5 stars, but I guess it's because I'm comparing it to 4 and 5-star inns everywhere from Virginia to Asheville to San Francisco, Arizona and elsewhere and it simply doesn't compare to most of the very top quality competitors -- if nothing else in its spare, sparse, minimalist appearance, despite some lovely rooms. The exterior is frankly bland although it's probably fitting for its rustic location. This is an above average B&B but the accommodations, food, service and prices simply don't merit 5 stars when compared to 5-star B&Bs in the areas I mentioned as well as other locations. However, if rating it on its own with no major comparisons (though I don't know why anyone would do that), I can see people giving it 5 stars. I simply can't though. That doesn't mean it's not a great place to get away, have some peace and quiet and an enjoyable time and it won't keep me from recommending it very much!…

What a beautifully maintained Inn that is in such a beautiful place! The views of Watts Bar Lake and nearby mountains are breathtaking…so even though it’s a bit out of the way, it is worth the drive. The food is also wonderful and the service attentive. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful and a true sanctuary in every sense of the word. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, great food, and BEAUTIFUL property! Excellent activities (included in price), and wonderful accommodations. Each room has a personalized touch and it's obvious great thought was put into the small details. Feels like a home away from home, highly reccommend!

We needed a short break from Nashville on weekend of July 4th and booked The Bluebird Room at this fine inn. We had all these plans on using it as a home base to go antiquing and golfing but stayed put on the property the whole weekend instead, walking the trails, swimming in their pool, exploring the property (it is a working farm). The room was well equipped with a fridge, TV, microwave, gas fireplace. It was a fairly good size room with a large bathroom..And, this was the lower priced of the rooms. I can only imagine the other rooms which we will happily splurge on when we return in October. The inn staff was outstanding. Not intrusive, but there when you needed them. The dinners, breakfasts and availability of all day freshly made snacks were also most enchanting and delicious. If you want to take all of the unfinished books you have to finish with you, it is the perfect place for you. That's exactly what we did! Please see for yourself and unwind. God knows there are too few places to do this nowadays.…

We just got home from Whitestone Country Inn. We had a great time hiking, canoeing, playing frisbee golf, and enjoying God's beautiful creation. Our room (the Mallard Suite) and the common areas were very clean. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts and a dinner at Whitestone and everything was delicious. They also had delicious homemade cookies, brownies, and cupcakes along with other snacks available throughout the day. I highly recommend Whitestone!

This tranquil property right next to the TN River has lovely views and plenty to do (or not do) including canoeing. Our suite in the Rivendell Cottage was cozy and quaint. My husband and I had a lovely stay. The Witestone Inn is well worth the visit!

Husband and wife spring break getaway and looking for a relaxing atmosphere. We were definitely not disappointed with the spectacular views and peaceful atmosphere. There is some updates that need to be made, but it was all in all a wonderful stay and relaxing. Every staff member we met was pleasant and helpful. Our server for most of our meals was Megan and she was so sweet and quick to meet our needs. Chef Joe has only been there for a couple of weeks and is doing a fine job. Our meals, from our complimentary breakfast, afternoon snacks, and dinner were superb! It was so nice not to have to get out and drive to other places to eat. We were able to take a morning walk to breakfast and then work it off on our way back to our cottage. This is a wonderful place for any couple that wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy the peace and beauty of God’s creation. We were even able to walk to a small chapel on the grounds and enjoy a nice Sunday morning service.…

An incredible setting and beautiful buildings is what awaits you here. Our stay was during a slow period-which due to COVID was fantastic. We saw only 4 people the entire time here. The view from the balcony was breathtaking...mist rolling in across the lake. Beautiful farmhouse and equally nice room. Yes, owned and operated by very religious people, church stuff everywhere...but outside of that, an incredible place to just unwind. The only downside, the coffee, a personal preference...but you should never be able to look thru good coffee...Good Coffee should raise the dead...this would hardly keep the living awake. LOL.
