My wife and I came here for a weekend. So beautiful. Five stars for the place and its location. Five stars also to the spaciousness of the great room we had. Hummingbird. The dinner offered at the facility restaurant is really good—though pricey it’s worth it. Personally I loved the vision and mission of the place. I think they could use some more cleaning for the facility though. Carpets in the restaurant are pretty old and in places it’s not clean at all. The staff is nice and friendly for the most part. Some staff aren’t following COVID guidelines. They even don’t know some basic answers regarding what measures were taken about cleaning rooms in the COVID period. Table Tennis is not usable—old and not smooth to really enjoy a game. We’d come again but we hope some care is given to cleaning. The fact that they charge pretty good price, they should pay attention to some extra cleaning measures. Rooms and breakfast were fine and we enjoyed them.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review with us. I am so glad you all enjoyed your stay . We actually are working on new carpet for the dining room as we speak. We are continuing to check and follow all guidelines from the state and county on cleaning and sanitizing during Covid. We are a small business with about 35 staff members and it is a challenge but we are doing a great job . Thanks again for the review and we hop you will come visit again!

A beautiful location for a wedding venue. Located above the river, provides a perfect photo backdrop. Be aware there is a steep walk from the parking area to the chapel. Staff were offering rides in a golf cart for those that needed it. It does feel like you are lost on the way; definitely off the beaten path.

Friendly staff, great food, and BEAUTIFUL property! Excellent activities (included in price), and wonderful accommodations. Each room has a personalized touch and it's obvious great thought was put into the small details. Feels like a home away from home, highly reccommend!

We needed a short break from Nashville on weekend of July 4th and booked The Bluebird Room at this fine inn. We had all these plans on using it as a home base to go antiquing and golfing but stayed put on the property the whole weekend instead, walking the trails, swimming in their pool, exploring the property (it is a working farm).
The room was well equipped with a fridge, TV, microwave, gas fireplace. It was a fairly good size room with a large bathroom..And, this was the lower priced of the rooms. I can only imagine the other rooms which we will happily splurge on when we return in October.
The inn staff was outstanding. Not intrusive, but there when you needed them. The dinners, breakfasts and availability of all day freshly made snacks were also most enchanting and delicious.
If you want to take all of the unfinished books you have to finish with you, it is the perfect place for you. That's exactly what we did! Please see for yourself and unwind. God knows there are too few places to do this nowadays.

I wanted to give this place five stars. I came for a retreat and it was the best week of my life. The property needs some upgrades. AC cannot be turned below 70 and my room was hot some nights depending on outside temp. Mattress was worn and I rolled in the imprints. They did amazing at accommodating allergies on some meals. Both Linda’s were outstanding! But a few mainly evening staff weren’t as accommodating some nights. We had to tell them they had vegan butter, they would skip cheese instead of using vegan when we knew they had some, told us they didn’t have gluten free bread etc. we knew they did because at lunch we had it. Gabe the manager was outstanding as well as Crystal. Both went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. The view and peace is amazing. But the price is steep for what it is accommodation wise. I really would love to come back again some day. As long as you know the above going into it it shouldn’t be an issue. I just had high expectations for $300 a night.

A smalll paradise with a huge park and nice views on the Tennessee river. The hotel is in the farmhouse located and the rooms are nicely decorated, clean and large. The only issue we had is that we only got the code for the room at 5 am next morning and there was nobody at the reception. Point to improve as we lost quite some time when arriving.

If you are looking for rest and relaxation, a beautiful setting, lakeside country inn with nice amenities, Whitestone Country Inn is it! Off the beaten path, very serene and awesome views, Whitestone was just what I needed. Sat on my veranda in the evening listening to birds chirping and sheep’s baaing, very soothing surroundings! The rooms are very nice and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is plentiful and dinner is delicious. I had a nice ribeye, strawberry-walnut-mixed greens salad, roasted baby potatoes and asparagus! The other choice was shrimp and grits and I heard other diners say the best they had ever tasted! Highly recommend Whitestone for a restful, relaxing, getaway with some good food!

Husband and wife spring break getaway and looking for a relaxing atmosphere. We were definitely not disappointed with the spectacular views and peaceful atmosphere. There is some updates that need to be made, but it was all in all a wonderful stay and relaxing. Every staff member we met was pleasant and helpful. Our server for most of our meals was Megan and she was so sweet and quick to meet our needs. Chef Joe has only been there for a couple of weeks and is doing a fine job. Our meals, from our complimentary breakfast, afternoon snacks, and dinner were superb! It was so nice not to have to get out and drive to other places to eat. We were able to take a morning walk to breakfast and then work it off on our way back to our cottage. This is a wonderful place for any couple that wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy the peace and beauty of God’s creation. We were even able to walk to a small chapel on the grounds and enjoy a nice Sunday morning service.

This place drips southern hospitality. My husband and I are traveling through Tennessee looking for property and just happened to stumble across this Inn due to location and availability. From the moment we got here we were welcomed and treated with kindness. Our room was charming and cozy. The grounds are breath taking. The views from the pool were incredible. The food was great. The staff was beyond accommodating. We will most certainly be back.

We just got home from Whitestone Country Inn. We had a great time hiking, canoeing, playing frisbee golf, and enjoying God's beautiful creation. Our room (the Mallard Suite) and the common areas were very clean. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts and a dinner at Whitestone and everything was delicious. They also had delicious homemade cookies, brownies, and cupcakes along with other snacks available throughout the day. I highly recommend Whitestone!
