Upon arrival, the manager assured us his walk-in rate was better than online. In fact it was higher and didn't include breakfast. When I showed him the info online, he said he can't control what happens online. Also, he clearly understood that we were paying him to book a night tour to the volcano, but booked a day tour to...

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occassions over the years. It offers clean rooms with airconditioning and hot water. Staff is welcoming and helpful. There is parking and even a small pool. It isn't the Hilton but in my opinion its a great little " motel" i always feel safe and comfortable when visiting. For security reasons the...

My partner and I recently stayed here for 1 night. The receptionist/manager had a very formal and abrupt manner, strutting around. It wasn't until after we had settled in that we began to notice all the strict red signs everywhere! telling you what you couldn't do! it was quite weird. We then noticed a huge sign which indicated the religious...

I just spent 2 weeks at the Hotel Ivanias while studying Spanish in Masaya. There are few options for real hotels in Masaya rather than downscale hostels. The staff were incredibly helpful here, particularly Frederico, the day manager who is fluent and English and Marbell the night manager. You can order breakfast at 7 a.m and eat on tables poolside...

We stayed at the hotel for one night. It was actually quite dirty, the pillows had mice poop and the toilet seat was grey, I had to shrub it so that my young kids can go to the bathroom. Mattresses are old and we woke up with back pain. The place did not feel safe either.

I had heard about this hotel from a few acquaintances and the other day i needed a place to spend the night. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. First and foremost it was clean and freshly painted. The rooms are spartan but then again thus was not a luxury hotel. The security was also impressive. The drink refrigerator even...

My Husband & I stayed here one night. The man at the counter Fredrico was rood. I was very nice to him but he must not have liked us being foreigners to his country. Really did not feel welcome. He never smiled or at least acted friendly. Room was clean and had AC. The shower had no water pressure but...

It is a nice building with a courtyard with a small and clean pool. The rooms are perfectly clean and ok. Mine had no windows at all, but a functioning airco unit. The shower in my room refused to produce warm water and that was a big let down. Hotel was fully booked so could not change the room, understandably....

The manager is a bit dour, but he speaks English (always important in these parts) and is pretty helpful. The staff is constantly busy cleaning. Our room with two queen beds was bigger than we expected. The hotel has a small pool and offers an okay breakfast that is made to order (choose between pancakes or eggs). The only negative...
