Booked a dome for the last weekend in January and couldn't be happier. The dome was surprisingly large, very comfortable and well kitted out with a double bed, two singles, a kitchette, table, chairs and a couch beside a wood burning stove that we spent an evening curled up in looking out from the coast with the fastnet lighthouse just visible in the distance.
Be warned, it's an eco freiendly destination so the toilet and shower for the dome were outside. There's also another set of showers near the car park if you want.
Do book a few hours in the hot tub. Don't ignore the advice about how hot it gets. Bring wellies.
The village of Goleen is less than a ten minute walk, has three great pubs. The guinnes was better than the Murphy's too. A very impressive clock behind the bar in one too.
Happily recommend for anyone looking for a few days in a staggeringly beautiful setting, who wants to explore west Cork and looking for a bit more in nature than opulent luxury.

We just came back from the best weekend in Goleen Harbour! The location is absolutely stunning, it's quiet and peaceful, everything we needed to switch off for 2 nights. The cliff walks were perfectly mapped out and easily accessible. We pitched a tent (2 adults and a dog). The bathrooms and showers were always clean and the kitchen has everything you need (although we had used our BBQ). We did get caught in the storm on the second night, but it didn't affect our experience. We can't wait to come back ❤️
