I stayed at the hotel from June18 - January 19. The rooms were always clean and comfortable, reception staff were helpful friendly and professional. The public areas of the hotel were cosy and comfortable. All the staff through to management couldn’t be better, nothing was too

We loved our stay at Castleknock Hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. We were only there for a brief time, so we did not get to enjoy the pool or gym, but the areas did look incredible.

The biggest disappointment is the level of service in the restaurant. Its not a once off because I have stayed in the this hotel several times in the last year and the issue repeats itself. You often have to get up from your seat to get a waiter/waitress attention. The last

In our opinion no as you only sleep in the rooms you are better to book a deluxe double and spend the money you have saved on a fantastic meal

Hi I’m pretty sure there is a bus service in the area, but I didn’t notice any busses around the hotel vicinity. Everyone I saw arrived by car or Taxi. Hope this helps

Hi Mandy, there are a few options, a 15 minute walk to Coolmine Train Station and a 20 minute train ride to Connolly or Tara St stations. The fare is approximately €5. You could also walk 5 minutes from the hotel to catch the 37 bus which is about 35-45 min (subject to traffic) in to the city and is about €3. Alternatively a taxi is about €20-€25. Hope this helps.

Has the spa re-opened yet?
It was due to open on the 20th December but was still in the final throws of its refurbishment when we stayed a few days earlier. From previous experience I would double check with the hotel.
