Best place (quality/hospitality/price) we stayed during our 10 days trip around Ireland. Caitlin did her best to set warm and hospitable atmosphere. Rooms were cute and really big, comparing other B&B. Place is amazing... the end of the world, small wonderful peninsula, far from everything... You can really enjoy peaceful Irish coastal village with no turist rush, etc. It is...

Caitlin's warm presence infuses her lovely home, making this a relaxing and cosy place to stay. She greets guests with refreshments and takes the time to talk and get to know you. The rooms look out onto the sparse but dramatic and beautiful scenery of Mweenish Island, connected by road to Carna. Five minutes walk down a country lane, you...

Caitlin was friendliness personified and made us very welcome in her lovely home. Clean, comfortable and with a breakfast to last the day, I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Great value for money and with side-splitting entertainment form her dog, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I have stayed in a few B&B's when I have traveled over to Ireland, but Atlantic Wave is by far the best one I have been to. It is located in a beautiful area in Carna. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and I had some of the best sleep that I have had traveling. The owner and hostest Caitlin is...

Spent a couple of days in this beautiful part of the country and instantly fell in love with it! Mweenish Island is a such scenic place with its white sandy beaches and rocky landscape. Myself and my son stayed at the Atlantic Wave B&B in Mweenish and could not have been made more welcome! The host Caitlin is very friendly...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Atlantic Wave B&B on Mweenish Island. I was welcomed with a pot of tea & home made cake & biscuits, which was very much appreciated having spent most of the day travelling. I instantly felt at home. Amazing breakfasts, a friendly host & stunning views. Ideal for the Joe Heaney festival, which was...

DescriptionAtlantic Wave is a beautiful, comfortable house filled with paintings made by the owner. The B&B offers to its guests 4 comfortable rooms with sea view (2 on first floor and 2 on ground floor) and a private lounge with TV-DVD on the ground floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom facilities. Breakfast is served in the spacious dining room and includes a large variety of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt and of course the traditional Irish breakfast. You can order other combinations. The most charming about Atlantic Wave is the fact that it is only 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and it is also not too far from Twelve Bens, in southern direction.
