Tucked away down a narrow road but worth the find! The rooms were clean, large and oh so comfy! A nice sitting room was available for guests. We arrived and were offered tea or coffee which was served with biscuits. There was a Menu with breakfast choices ... I opted for smoked salmon with eggs! Divine!!! Fresh fruit, cereal and...

Very good location. It was so quiet. Amazing breakfast. Its been a long time I had such a good bacon. Not kidding! Hosts are also very nice people. They took good care of every need. We were offered tea at arrival with scones and butter.

Superb experience. Mary and Sylvain are excellent hosts and most welcoming. A great place to stay when visiting Connemara. I only stayed one night but am more that tempted to return. This is an address I will be giving to anyone going to Connemara from France and Belgium.

Along a rather bumpy road you will find Rossroe Lodge up on the side of a hill overlooking the water. Lovely location. Clean and well kept property. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Mary gave us good advice as to where to eat locally and breakfast was great. Wifi drops in and out a bit and my partner found the bed slightly...

Dear zofttaman, Thank you for your review. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you would recommend our bed and breakfast to others. In regard to the WiFi we unfortunately cannot dictate the quality or speed of it. As we are quite remote we are limited to providers in the area and as a result we have...

Stayed here with my wife for a night as we drove thru Ireland. Host family was nice but seemed a bit hurried when we arrived though happy to give dinner advice. Set in a beautiful and remote area. The room we had was nice with the largest bathroom we had on our trip. The house was built very green-conscious, which...

Tucked away down a narrow lane, and overlooking the tidal inlet, this is a gem of a B&B. Warm welcome (rhubarb crumble!), comfy bed, amazing breakfast from French host - just great. Would definitely recommend and return. Bed was unusually long (I'm 6ft 2, and usually hang over the end).

The hosts were friendly and professional. The family room upstairs was cosy, bright and the views were beautiful. It was such a peaceful spot. The Power shower was lovely and beds were so supportive. The Breakfasts were superb both days.

You won't get a more genuine Connemara holiday than this....The last two miles to Rossroe lodge is just so interesting... Cows, ponies, little boats, wild flowers, blackberries and then the magnificent setting of Sylvian and Mary's home perched over an inlet with herons and seagulls dipping into the water. The view from our bedroom was superb. We availed of the...
