Staying with PJ and Josephine was a pleasure. They are the reason you choose to stay in a B&B and not a rented property or a Hotel. Every morning we were asked with interest what we were doing and recommendations for other things to do near to our destination were offered. This local information was invaluable and we especially welcomed...

Hazelbrook was a perfect place to stay while visiting the Cleggan area. Josephine and her husband were warm and friendly and very helpful. My room was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would recommend Hazelbrook very highly for anyone visiting the Cleggan region.

Four of us stayed here for two days. Went on a fishing trip at Josephine's recommendation. Best fishing trip ever. Even cooked part of out catch in portable grill out front while enjoying the beautiful views. Ferry to island was memorable day as well.

We had a nice experience at this B and B. There were 11 of us total which is a large number to travel with. The views from the house were lovely and we stayed in the living room well past check out as we were waiting for our horse back riding to begin at 2:00.

Cleggan... Beautiful rugged charming rustic rural Atlantic coastal village. Clifton, just a few miles away has plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy and is very easy to access. Josephine and P.J. were great hosts. Even though I booked last minute, everything was ready for when I arrived. My room was cozy, clean and very homely, and the bed was...

The bed was just okay; the pillows need replaced. The furnishings and decor seemed old. I did not feel that we were welcomed guests. It seemed like we surprised the innkeeper that he had tourist with a reservation. The full Irish breakfast was good.

When you turn into the drive, you quickly realise you are at someone's home, in rural Cleggan. There is an old sea anchor half-buried in the lawn and a couple of tropical palms which stand proud on the Irish landscape. We were quickly made at home by the landlady, Josephine, who seemed like an elderly aunt. The room was comfortable...

This B&B is very nice, comfortable and well appointed. The hosts, P.J and Josephine, are friendly and accommodating, and made us feel welcome. They even changed our rooms to a downstairs location. The little village of Cleggan is remote, but the scenery is spectacular. We had hoped our agent had booked us a little closer to Galway, as it was...

We stayed here for two nights. We had a very large room with a great view of the Bay. the area didn't have as much to offer as we would have liked, but Kylemore Abbey was near and the gardens was a highlight of the area. The wifi was free, but we did not have a phone connection for most...
