Unique place, sorroundings breathtaking, and excellent staff. The classy decor makes one feel at home. Every space has a fireplace. The restaurant deserves a mention: unique flavors, very creative and tastefull... food is original and also very good quality. I felt at home yet a little more pampered

This location was recommended by family that had stayed here and it did not disappoint. Correspondence with the hotel prior to our stay was always answered promptly. The staff was warm and welcoming. On arrival, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a terrace, huge bath, dressing area and river view. The hotel was undergoing renovations, so we needed...

Everything about this hotel was lovely from the staff to the food. The decor is understated and classy. We were luckily enough to visit on a sunny day which was definitely an extra bonus as there are lovely paths around the hotel where you can take a stroll. We had dinner in the restaurant which was beautifully presented and tasted...

Spent two nights at the castle during March staying in a room in the old house. On arrival you can smell the turf fire from the entrance, a lovey welcome. Check in was quick during which we booked our dinner in the bar for that night, dining in the restaurant on the second night. Room was nicely decorated with a...

Ballynahinch Castle Hotel is the apex of the friendliness and service within the hospitality industry; a veritable pot of gold. Immediately at reception, I was welcomed by not only the staff, but the roaring fire in the sitting area. The rooms are gorgeously appointed, with tasteful decor and a calm, serene color palette. I cannot rave enough about the shower...

My husband and I visited for two nights as part of our extended Irish countryside honeymoon. The location is beyond beautiful. The setting, the room, the grounds are exemplary. The choice of the pub and the restaurant is good and access to Connemara national park and Kylemore Abbey is picturesque par excellence. However, for an experience of this kind (and...

My second visit to this fantastic hotel. The only downside was the construction work, which has to be done. The staff were all exceptional and very personable. The evening meal was just superb and worth the visit alone. If you go you must do all the walks around the estate, they are breathtaking. Many thanks to Freddie for dealing with...

Rich in history, set in the heart of Connemara a couple of kilometres from Roundstone (one of the prettiest villages in the world), the grounds of this Hotel are second to none. The smell of a turf fire as soon as you enter in the main door sets the tone for the rest of your stay. The food is nothing...
