Stayed here for 2 night mid-week break with one evening meal in the Owenmore Restaurant and lunch and one evening meal in the bar, food excellent. Facilities are first class, rooms beautifully appointed. The grounds and walks are stunning in the autumn. Will come again.

If you are dreaming of a castle stay in the Irish countryside, look no further. This is the kind of place that dreams are made of. Every detail is exquisite and well thought out. Our room in the old building had a wonderful view of the mountains. It was furnished with a four poster bed and had a sitting area...

Lovely quiet location, breathtaking views. Food and service outstanding. Great place for couples to get away from it all, log fires, reading and guinness, interrupted only by woodland walks. Evening meal great with locally sourced produce. No pools or kids to disturb the tranquility.

This is not our first time popping into Ballynahinch Castle for dinner in the bar and ending up staying for hours because we are just so well fed and the atmosphere is so relaxed. Booked a table in the bar in advance (recommended to make sure you get a spot when the hotel is that busy!) and had the best...

This is the best of Ireland. Superb food, spacious and well appointed suite, and a must do morning guided walk with Noel. Definitely a place to add to an Ireland itinerary in the Connamare. Ideally located to drive the Sky Road, the Wild Atlantic Way with a stop in Cliftden for fabulous seafood chowder.

This lovely hotel is nestled in the countryside surrounded by lush forest and quiet water. The food was excellent in both testaurants, and the hotel is close to Clefton, a small town that abounds with great restaurants and pubs. Be sure to take a tour of the grounds lead by Noel, a fountain of history of the region.

We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and I could not have done it better. The rooms are great with plenty of amenities. The shower was fantastic - good pressure and temperature control. There is a heated mirror in the bathroom to prevent fogging the mirrors. We reserved a table for dinner and the staff was very accomodating when we...
