We loved our room, the grounds and best of all the staff was just wonderful. Plan on spending a minimum or 2-3 days to enjoy the activities, scenery and food. This was our first trip to the Castle but we plan to return because of the above and beyond hospitality.

just perfect - most rooms all remodeled, more on the way in the new year. Food was awesome and the staff and grounds superb. Breakfast is diverse and huge - skipped lunch most days. The weather was perfect and the daily walks were very good. We brought friends who had not travelled to Ireland before and they were overwhelmed with...

Absolutely loved our stay at Ballynhinch Castle. We stayed two nights, got there on the Friday afternoon and left on Sunday morning. The drive to the hotel is breathtaking and the hotel itself is very homey with fireplaces in all the rooms. We stayed in the luxury room with a view on the river and it was very comfortable and...

Love Ballynahinch. Stayed just after Christmas with family. It was magical. Weather was perfect. Food delicious. Staff great. If you like hotel breakfasts, then you will LOVE theirs. Absolutely delicious fruits, homemade granola, pastries, jams and the traditional eggs etc. Delicious. Roaring fires, long walks, beautiful surroundings. What is not to love. Only hope they don't change it too much...

We stayed three nights here and had a lovely and relaxing time. We loved the Sitting by the fire reading with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The staff is very friendly and always willing to offer assistance. Most guests here seem to know each other and are warmly greeted by name by staff. Food was nice,...

Words cannot describe how wonderful our stay at Ballynahinch was. I could not imagine a more idyllic location or better staff. The room, view, food, beds, ameneties were all wonderful. My husband took advantage of the clay shooting and thoroughly enjoyed himself. This was our 9th trip to Ireland and as we told our hosts repeatedly, if it ends up...

Perhaps didn't get to see the castle and enjoy all its charms given the stormy weather that surrounded my visit, and regrettably while I did try to walk the grounds and around the lake, the submergence of the paths in water that came over my rubber boots won out and I was forced to turn back. All that said rooms...

Perfect place for a quiet getaway, beautiful location. Very attentive staff can't do enough to make sure your stay is to your liking. Lovely walks through the grounds along the river and up to the lake. Nice open fires in the library and sitting room, great places to sprawl and read or just chill after you've had your fill of...

We arrived at the Castle with no big trouble -with GPS help- but it is surely a dangerous and long drive if you do it at night. At daytime you will enjoy Irelands wild sceneries! The hotel is like an antique it self with no luxury of the modern ways but still very romantic and cozy. Nice service and warm...
