I am just home after a wonderful retreat weekend with Carmel at the Burren Yoga & Meditation centre & if anything it was better than I remembered it to be before. The centre is run impeccably by Dave & the weekend flows wonderfully, Gearoid's cooking is worth a Bridgestone plaque & we all found ourselves yearning for the next meal....

The Burren Yoga retreat is special. Firstly Dave who runs the retreat has a kind and calming personality which compliments the retreat. Kathryn was the yoga instructor and she helped me to understand more deeply the link between yoga and meditation. She was very down to earth, funny and she had great energy. The setting is beautiful! We took a...

I want to tell anyone who is considering going to the Burren Yoga Centre that it is truly a magical place. From the people you meet, the excursions you go on, the yoga classes you take to the delicious fresh meals you eat...it is life in its most authentic state. Dave, the owner of the centre, was accommodating and had...

I have visited Burren Yoga and Meditation Centre many times over the past ten years, and the most important thing to know, is that Dave (who runs the centre) is totally genuine and has dedicated his life to yoga and meditation and to helping others discover and develop their own practices in yoga and meditation. I particularly like the focus...

I went to the Burren Yoga Centre weekend of the 20th January and what a amazing place it is. From the initial warm welcome right through to the departure on Sunday I was blown away. Dave/Grainne and chef Gearoid made sure everyone was looked after. Dave is so passionate about mediation/yoga and really hope people can incorporate it into their...

I made my 3rd visit this weekend , the last was 2yrs ago and I was welcomed like an old friend by the lovely Grainne. This yoga centre has basic but cosy and very clean accommodation. Geroid is not only a brilliant vegetarian chef but a gentleman, such tasty food.

Visited the centre Sept 2016 for some much needed R&R. Met the owner who was very welcoming when I arrived and throughout the weekend he made sure we had all we needed. The feeling is of a very homely bright and cheery place, not too fancy/posh but that suited me fine! The accommodation ranges from 3-4 sharing to single rooms,...

Recently my wife gave me a gift of weekend at Burren yoga centre. As I'm in my very late fifties and just a few months experience at yoga classes I was very apprehensive. There was no need -- Dave Brocklebank is inspirational and made everyone so welcome at his unique centre in the beautiful Burren. Accommodation for Anne and I...

I've recently returned from a 5-day yoga and meditation retreat at Burren Yoga, hosted by Dave Brocklebank and taught by Niamh Jones. It was uplifting, positive, fun, healthy, educational and more. My own experience of yoga is very limited and the other participants ranged from beginners to advanced. Thanks to Niamh's very engaging style of teaching and her close attention...

After a long series of stressful events I decided to book myself onto a weekend retreat at Burren Yoga. The retreat was suitable for all ages and abilities and the instructor Bella was great at ensuring the mixed group were all able to partake in the various moves and poses taught throughout the weekend. Dave was great at running the...
