Had lunch in the bar area. Lots of seating. The food was very tasty with good servings and the staff and service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend to any traveler or if you just want a good feed.
Rolled into the Merriman on my bike last Saturday evening wet worst for wear.
After booking in straight to the shower which was fantastic. Then into the bar for a hot coffee.

There re several good places to stop and this would be a good one too. Galway Bay is a convenient walk from the hotel with lovely views. Make sure they get the lights and heat on to the room several hours before you arrive.
