We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are amazing and the food very good. Only a short drive from the city and feels like it's out in the middle of the countryside. Their is a nice walk along the canel and a very nice bar area to sit and relax in.

I'm sitting in the relaxing lounge area of the Cliff at Lyons after a beautiful meal. Whilst I dine out perhaps once or twice a month, it's been a long time since I can recall such a memorable meal. The food is of top quality, seasonal and simply presented yet sophisticated (now that's a challenge). Cliff at Lyons is a...

Had a lovely stay, the small bar at reception is so cosy, the restaurant by the canal serves really reasonable, good quality snacks and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was in the orangery which again was a wonderful place to sit, enjoy some food and let the day begin.

We recently returned from a fabulous long weekend stay at the Cliff at Lyons. It has a picturesque setting and the various converted stable buildings are quite charming. Yet it's just an easy 25 mins (ish) drive from Dublin - the best of both worlds! The room was very comfortable with a spacious, impressive shower/wetroom - and a Nespresso machine...

We had a delicious lunch in the Canal Cafe at Village at Lyons. The grounds are beautiful and worth the stroll around. We had an open sandwich each and bangers and mash for our preschooler. The food was delicious and well presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. Upon arrival we were asked if we booked and we hadn't but they...

Did the masterclass cookery course on a Saturday afternoon (12 to 5) with Martijn Kajuiter the executive chef. The 3 courses meal we cooked was fantastic and very interactive as every participant was cooking his own dish following Martijn’s instruction. When a course was done we sat down in a nearby room to enjoy it then went back to the...
