Beautiful location, very friendly staff & great food, and only 15 minutes from Red Cow junction. Superb location for weddings/functions etc. Also ideal for a gentle walk or cycle as it's located alongside the Grand Canal & terrain is generally flat. Highly Recommended.

Many thanks Billy M - The walk along the Grand Canal is even better since the council upgraded the towpath and is attracting more and more ramblers and cyclists to Cliff at Lyons as a stop off experience. Glad you had a pleasant visit and thank you for recommending Cliff at Lons.

Loved our suite overlooking the fountain, great food in the restaurant. Had a wonderful walking tour of the surrounding area with local tour guide Breda Konstantin. The staff were all helpful and friendly especially Laura in the Spa. Cliff at Lyons is on the Lyons Demesne, which was restored to its former glory by the late Irish entrepreneur and Ryanair...

After hearing glowing reports we decided to have sunday lunch yesterday in the Canal cafe. I must warn....unless you are from the area use your sat nav or google maps as it off the beaten track and l got very lost however the layout and setting of the cliff at Lyons is idyllic and l can see why it is...

Attended a friend's wedding very recently, it really was outstanding. Place looked amazing, food was excellent and bedrooms were incredible, really no expense spared here which is fantastic. Food in the cafe the following day was excellent also. Staff were generally lovely however one of the bar men did let them down, was quite rude all night, unfortunately he served...

I was invited by a client to the Canal cafe in the cliff at Lyons estate a beautiful restaurant in a idyllic setting. From my starter to the main and desert all I can do is hail the chef as a culinary artist. The taste, texture and presentation of every course was something I would have expected in the most...

The Village at Lyons is a beautiful spot and I've dined in the cafe before to great satisfaction. However, our most recent visit to the cafe since it was renamed 'Cliff' was a disappointing one. We arrived at the door of the cafe which was bustling with clientele and staff. Having waited in the queue for five minutes or so,...

The food is fabulous, just take my word for it, it is to the same standard as tankardstown.the grounds are beautiful, I don't think I have ever taken as many photos. But,Most of the staff made mistakes, from giving us a few different times for breakfast, forgetting to get me something I had ordered, spilling my coffee, they were nice but...
