This is a beautiful hotel. Amble parking and beautiful lobby as you walk in. There is a lovely display of cakes and confectionary for afternoon in lobby. Had lunch in bar on both occasions. A great selection of food and deserts on offer. Price reasonable. The food was beautiful and plentyful. The chef serving was very polite and served very...

We stayed in the Ashdown park hotel on Sunday 15th Jan and even though check in was a bit slow it was well worth waiting for. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor and it was spotless and inviting. We had dinner in the Rowan Tree restaurant which was really tasty and well presented. The breakfast buffet...

My wife and I travel to Ireland every year to visit family and this is one of the finest places we have ever stayed in over 30 years! The rooms are spacious and very clean and the beds are very comfortable! And, although every member of the staff was a pleasure to deal with, the best by far was the...

After getting a two day break voucher for this hotel for a very reasonable price my expectations were not high . On arrival staff were very friendly and efficient and that continued across all areas . Lovely big bar with quiet nooks. Took a while to get served but on a Tuesday obviously staff were doing other jobs as well...

Really enjoyed by stay at this hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms very spacious, clean with lovely fresh linen. Breakfast was a little cool, prefer hotter. Service at the bar was a little slow but the evening entertainment was lovely. Recommend for a nice breakaway. only a few minutes walk to the center of Gorey Town.

Lovely, comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and it's in a very handy location. Ok value for money. It has an old feel to it which I really like. Some more modern places feel a bit sterile.

We attended the Christmas party on the 10 of December and it wasn't a nice experience. Staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people they had to cater for. The meal was delayed and serving was very slow. The food was of a low average canteen standard. The soup was cold and the main course was a display of management...
