Stayed here recently for one night and Pleasantly surprised as other reviews weren't the best. This was a great find . Fantastic location near the monastic site and a great base to walk around the lakes & see the amazing views. Hotel itself it's small but we were really happy with our stay. Ate in Bistro & both dinner that...

Stopped off here for afternoon refreshments after a few hours exploring around the monastic settlement and the lakes. The hotel is in a fantastic location and, as there are no other establishments very close by, it has a type of monopoly - and perhaps this explains the attitude of staff. They seemed totally disinterested and not all all helpful. Even...

The setting is spectacular - almost next door to the famous monastic ruins and the round tower, and nestling amid mature trees in this stunningly beautiful valley. The hotel is pretty good overall - friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonable rates. But the place needs a bit of a makeover - there are scuff marks on the doors and spots where...

The location was stunning but unfortunately the Hotel - whilst clean is in need up an upgrade. The staff , or lack of staff seemed to be very young and inexperienced. One staff member behind the bar. We waited ages for a menu in the bar and i had to go to find a staff member to get us a...

Great location and good food in their restaurant. Had a bit of an issue with the water not draining in the bathtub in our room but that was taken care of immediately. Friendly staff, free parking and decent WiFi. Hotel is located in the County Wicklow, in what I think is a National park. The hotel is not very modern...

Honestly one of the worst customer services I've ever seen. It's is very clear that the staff in this hotel restaurant don't want to be there. They all seemed extremely young and inexperienced. When we first entered we encountered two staff members who completely ignored us. It didn't seem two busy but still had to ask do I take a...

Wow....what a magical location for a two night stay, the walks around Glendalough were a clear highlight and whilst my room at the hotel was small the overall ambience of the hotel was delightful. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the bar provided a casual location to watch some Sunday afternoon sport.

Stayed here last weekend and had a lovely time. Breakfast was freshly cooked, dinner was excellent and staff very friendly, What more could you ask! Hotel is located right beside the historic city and round tower and there is a lovely green road walk to the lakes. The only little issue I had was with the packed lunches - the...

On a day out in Glendalough myself and some friends decided to stop here for a quick bite. The servers were very unfriendly. Firstly we only had one menu and had only sat down when a server attacked us to order very abruptly. When we asked for another couple of minutes we were looked at like we were being a...
