We stayed here as our usual hotel ( the sister hotel the revere) was fully booked at the time we wanted to visit. The room were clean and spacious. Bathroom clean. Had both bath and shower. The hotel is in a great location only about 5 mins walk from the beach

Comfortable enough bed but the decor is very tired. Windows didn't shut properly and carpets were in need of replacement. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Bathroom facilities were very old. I would look to stay elsewhere in the future as not a huge increase to get into a more modern hotel.

Thank you for your comments. Most of the rooms in the Stafford have been totally re-decorated last year. we still have some renovation to do this winter and hopefully the hotel bedrooms and all bathrooms will be all looking their best when we re-open in March. Should you wish to reserve, please do not hesitate to call us directly on...

The hotel room itself was lovely, spacious and clean. The hotel is on the beach front which is great. The staff however - extremely dissapointing. I stayed at the hotel for 1 week and the reception staff were very cold and rude at times. Asking for advice or for a taxi was an issue. I felt I was annoying them...

Thank you for your comments that we take very seriously. The service, attention and smile is one of our most important criteria in our hotels and I am very disappointed that one member of staff has let us down. The Stafford is re-opening in March with a new reception team. Please accept my sincere apologies.

I agree with other reviewers that The Stafford is a little dated in terms of décor/facilities, but that didn't detract from an overall positive experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, everything was clean and tidy, and the location was perfect. I really enjoyed my stay and I think The Stafford provided great value for money.

This a cheap 2 star but it is clean and well located. The rooms and decor are tired and dated and the lift is hilarious (it says it can accommodate 6 persons, but 2 with minimal luggage is a tight fit!) The breakfast was superb. I would go back for the breakfast! Did I mention it was cheap? Great value...

This hotel is next door to the Revere, where we stayed before, so we knew the area around it. Unlike the Revere, it has a lift! Our room was a bit bland and tired-looking, but clean and no real problems. One minor niggle was that the TV was only a small screen and only had channels 1 to 5. But...
