The staff are very nice, kind, friendly and helpful. The room was big and warm enough and the beds were really comfortable. There was everything you might need - an electric kettle, cups and spoons so that you may make your evening tea or coffee (provided as well), hairdryer, radio and TV (though not many channels), toiletries and even a...

This hotel is in many ways like a 1970s large boarding house with plastic flowers and cork tiling. however, it is the friendliest place I have stayed at on Jersey and as everyone says, the breakfast is superb. Considering the very reasonable price and the location within easy walking distance of downtown St Helier, if you just want somewhere homely,...

I wanted a town centre location but didn't want to pay huge amounts as I was only going to be sleeping at the hotel. It's been said before and I agree the decor is dated, however I personally don't judge a hotel just on decor - I'm not there to stay inside and look at the walls. Location is a...

This hotel is not quite as close to the port as portrayed when booking. However, it is run by lovely people who look after their guests. It wasn't really my cup of tea so I won't be staying again but there were plenty of satisfied customers.

"Breakfast is huge", Christina said when we booked. And so it was! The hotel has a good location, our room was charming with different levels. Cleaning first class, friendly reception and a sweet girl who took care of us at breakfast. Comfy beds! Wish we will come back.

We stayed three nights in this hotel. This hotel lets you feel at home. The owner/manager is very friendly and helpfull and so are the other staff. Breakfast is ok. There are a few restaurants very close to the hotel. The bus station, the ferries harbour, the main streets are within a walking dustance, but not a short one. There...

A really fantastic few days stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and breakfast was very pleasant as well. The hosts also very kindly printed my boarding pass for my flight which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is superbly located and look forward to returning soon.

So helpful and felt home to home - our dog loved it there - only downside was noisy road Breakfast was excellent and the girls treated us as part of a family. Nothing was too much trouble and Philip even phoned our room with the footballl results - Don't go there if you don't like The Rolling Stones - especially...

We loved this retro hotel which reminded us of seaside hotels from childhood .... It has stacks of character and makes a change from some of the bland modern hotels !! The best thing is the breakfast !! Everyone staying there and the staff seemed very happy ... It had a friendly vibe ! We would stay again !!

Unique step back in time and a regular home from home. Staff are excellent, food is immense, bar is really snug and ideally positioned near the excellent Howard Davis park. The value for money is good, but the friendly welcome from all make it worth every penny. If possible try not to get the room at the front on the...
