I eat here with my father every time I visit Jersey. It is his favourite. The restaurant is consistently top notch! The service is perfect, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and the location is gorgeous. The lady who runs/owns the restaurant is very friendly and always makes an effort to chat to her guests. The staff always...

We last went to the Mooring's Hotel in Jersey in 1965 and I could say nothing much has changed. That would be unfair to this wonderful area of Jersey, Gorey. The hotel itself was a little dated but that was easily forgotten when we sat on the balcony in the sunshine overlooking the bay. The food in 1965 was exceptional...

Stayed last week, we thought this place was great. Just don't get the 'opinions' (not facts) about it looking dated; it is NOT a Hilton in New York or London, it's in a small place on a small island so hasn't been re-modelled every 2 years - therefore to us it didn't feel dated! It was clean, functional and in...

I stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding in Jersey. It ticked the boxes - clean room, warm towels, pretty view - but nothing more. Overall, the space feels dated and needs a makeover. My friends in room 8 barely slept as their bed was so hard but room 2, where I was, is comfortable. Didn't try breakfast...

Walking through the doors of the Moorings, one enters a world reminiscent of the 1980s. The fabrics, the furnishings, the styling, the decor, haven't been changed in years. This inevitably gives the impression of a tired, old fashioned hotel which the Moorings is, but it is very comfortable, clean and with great charm. Our double room had a great view...

We called here today to the his Bistro apparently open to non residents according to the outside menu for a light lunch , however after being totally ignored by a waitress we were told that the kitchen was closed. Worst experience anywhere on our 4 day trip to Jersey. A lovely visit to Gorey Pier and castle spoiled by our...

We were visiting Gorey pier and popped in for a quick lunch. Staff were nice and accommodative. They prepared a special vegetarian sandwiches for us. When it arrived it was very delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the simple lunch. Good value for money. Would visit again for a proper dinner.

Just spent a week at this hotel and I cant sing its praises highly enough. The room we chose had a balcony (room 6) which is worth paying the extra for. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean. The food in both the hotel restaurant and in the bar/bistro is amazing. All the staff are friendly and really helpful, I needed to get...
