My family and I stayed here from 11th February. The receptionist Mark was rude and couldn't even bring himself to say hello or good morning. Mark knocked on my door one morning while I was only half dressed saying that the fire alarm in my room had been going off I told him that it wasn't, he barged in and...

I am sorry that your stay had some issues, but some of your comments are inaccurate. With regards to the Fire Alarm, we have just had a new state-of-the art Fire Alarm system installed. This identified that it had detected a possible fire in your room. Obviously I was concerned, so I went up and knocked on your door. I...

Previous reviews state hotel looks 'tired'. The positive spin is that it does feel old fashioned, but this just adds to the charm. The hotel is only a 20min casual walk from the airport, which is good if u only have hand luggage which I had. There is bus stops outside the hotel with regular bus services into Peter Port...

The hotel is close to the airport with good bus links to St Peter Port and other areas of the Island. The staff are very helpful and food is good but noting to write home about. The fabric of the hotel is in need of updating and renewing.

Three generations of my family stayed here via a newspaper advert. Very good value for money. We had interconnecting rooms which was ideal for us, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms well appointed. We made good use of the gym and pool. We visited in November at the end of the season so some areas around the pool...

Three generations of our family chose this hotel through a deal in the weekend papers. The rooms are generally very clean (one or two bits have been missed); the beds are very comfortable and there is everything you'd expect to find in a hotel room. The restaurant and housekeeping staff are all very friendly and happy to help. Breakfast is...

We chose hotel as was near airport which suited us. The room was fine..and the hotel was well provided with lounge areas to sit when it rained (Which it did on each day we stayed !).. reception staff were helpful, printed out boarding passes for us and were very informative. Restaurant was good.. lots of choice and very reasonable prices....

We stayed for 2 nights. While it's an nice enough hotel, if a little old fashioned, there were a couple of things which if improved or addressed would really make for a better experience. On the plus, the hotel and particularly the room was very clean, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. The breakfast was great, both continental...

Initial impression on arrival was that the outside was a bit tired, but don't let this fool you. Such a gem inside. Room (209) was clean, tidy, spacious (twin - 1 double/1 single). Window a bit stiff but not really an issue. Restaurant was spotless and had several breakfasts/evening meals. Food was excellent (generous portions & reasonable), Dont leave without...
