Really enjoyed my stay. Walking distance to St Peters Port, lovely views, good food and loved my room (24) - very quiet, nicely decorated and loved the bed 😄. Would recommend the bistro attached to hotel if you want food.

A last-minute booking, as I had to attend a business meeting, and I was very pleased. I had a garden / courtyard room which had the added bonus for me as a smoker of only having to step through the patio doors for a smoke. Everything was really good, this is a 3star that needs looking at by the 4star... More

Very handy location, walking distance to Town and a bus stop just a few metres from the front door if you need to go farther. Helpful staff, pleasant surroundings and very reasonably priced restaurant. Would happily return another time.

A nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. The room was tired but what views! The food in the bar was excellent fare and reasonable prices so no problem there. Breakfast is a bit odd with less atmosphere than on the dark side of the moon. You sit down and after a bit, if you're lucky, someone turns up with... More

We stayed in a room adjoining the enclosed beer garden. Lovely large room which was an extension to the hotel. The en suite had a modern walk in shower and the cleaner did a very good job of keeping everything clean including changing the towels everyday. The gardener also did a good job of keeping the small garden tidy. All... More

This hotel is affordable and within a 10 minute walk of the town center. The staff are welcoming and the food is reasonable. You do have to be careful about the room you are allocated as some overlook the busy main road and the inner courtyard. We overlooked the garden and the only problem was the heat in the room... Really enjoyable stay at La Piette, very rustic inside and even had a four poster bed in our room! The bar and restaurant areas are lovely, with reasonably priced food. Although as a wheelchair user, the bathroom was a little tight but manageable. Staff very friendly and willing to help at every opportunity. Overall, great experience and charming views out... More

We got lucky! We decided to go to Guernsey at the last minute. I searched the internet for tips on where to stay and found a Guernsey tourism site that listed a variety of hotels and guest houses, but the tourism office does not make reservations. I found a room at La Piette for the time we needed. It is... More

We also booked a garden room and when we arrived were allocated room 20. This room is definately not a garden room and has terrible views over the kitchen, also very gloomy and dated. We spoke to receptionist who then showed us three alternative rooms which were lovely. We settled for room 2 which was sea facing and although a lot of traffic...
