The Fisherman's Cot was a lovely B&B to stay at. Enjoyed it a great deal. All the staff were exceptional, particularly the general manager Juanita, who was very efficient and accommodating as our water pressure dropped, and we did not have any hot water. She very quickly got on the case and it was fixed in minutes. She also offered...

Lunchtime was very bustling but staff efficient & food delivered quite promptly. My gammon, egg & chips was OK, difficult to rave about that dish anyway. Beer excellent. Overall it was as expected & I would visit again.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from holiday. We booked a family room (no.20) and also met other family there for an evening meal. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite and the atmosphere was relaxed. The kids meals were excellent and presented the same way adult meals are. The kids loved running around...

Lovely pub/restaurant, staff were very accommodating and even though we did not book a table we were found a table on both occasions we visited straight away even though it was really busy. We both had the gammon the 1st time it was ok but did not come with the vine tomatoes as indicated on the menu, chips weren't the...

Myself and my fiancé arrived for the Easter weekend to have a relaxing get away. I had requested early check in when I booked in Oct 2016 but that hadn't registered which wasn't an issue so we had some lunch while we waited. Once 2:00pm hit, we went to check in. This is where the problems began. Due to the...

We had a day out in Devon, visiting a garden and in the evening we went by Bickley. Wonderful eatery next to the river. We feel we are regulars my husband ate here in 1966 - before our waitress was born. We really enjoyed the food. My Cod on a bed of Spinach and pea purée was magnificent, having started...

Visited on a whim as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids) all ordered different things, and all of the meals were lovely. It's a little pricey, but always well worth it, the quality of food and presentation and service is always excellent.

I cannot praise this place enough! The rooms are large, airy, clean and comfortable. Parking is very convenient with plenty of space and the food and service are amazing. It's on the river bank and beautiful. Recently fully refurbished accommodation and the staff are busy but friendly and helpful. There's free wifi but it's too nice here to work in...
