My sister and her husband came to visit and we went to the Fishermans Cot. The staff were all very friendly and the food was excellent. We did not have to wait long we got a table straightaway. They did several size meals and quantity and quality was brilliant. We will be coming here again. Well worth a visit.

It's always been a beautiful spot and now that the menus improved its a pleasure to visit. I had a wonderful seafood sakad and we got a table overlooking the river. The Rioja is good too and service with a smile. Very enjoyable.

We stayed on a bread and breakfast rate which I thought for the price was very reasonable. The location alongside a river is quite picturesque. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was in a lodge type building just to the rear of the pub itself. There were about 3 lodges next to each other which contained about 4...

Upon arrival, we checked in and went to our room, one of the cleaners saw us and said that the carpet outside the room was wet due to a leaking radiator. We were instantly upgraded to a family room. Staff very polite, food very good, and we enjoyed the lovely location.

The Fisherman's Cot stands by the River Exe at Bickleigh in Devon. Viewing this very attractive thatched Restaurant/Pub from the opposite side of the bridge is quite wonderful. Chocolate box or Jig-saw imagery here. A group of six of us went on Christmas eve for the festive menu. Plenty of choice for each of the three courses which included a...

We had booked a table for 7 people (with dogs) so they knew we were coming but we still had to sort our own table out! Fairly basic pub style menu but the food was all ok if not very inspiring. Service was fine and all meals came out of the kitchen at the same time. Very pretty spot by...

The food in the restaurant was good pub food fair priced. The breakfast took ages the first morning quicker the 2nd morning it...

The Roast potatoes and sprouts were like bullets stuffing was over cooked carrots were slightly under cooked so was very crunchy Turkey one slice was 5 times thicker than the other the peas were nice and the little cocktail sausage is an awful excuse for a pig...
