Stayed here overnight on Saturday im not one for complaining about hotels as the majority are a reasonable standard these days but feel the need with this one to save other people wasting their money. The decor is awful very dated and in need of refurbishment the bedroom (10) we stayed in was tiny to say the least reasonably clean...

Wonderful Wedding Party experience and place to visit. Excellent service especially from our waiter Jack! Walled garden is stunning as well as the view of the bay. We didn't stay but saw the rooms which looked lovely. Plenty of parking and really easy to find.

Rooms were small, considering the cost, and in dire need of renovation. Nearly four hundred pounds for four people for one night. Food choice in restaurant was limited. Okay, I suppose, if you are a fish lover. We had the Plaice. Full of bones and watery.Food served cold at breakfast. The hotel is in an excellent location and the views...

We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant, such a beautiful hotel, with stunning views, the food was good but bad service and attention to detail let it down. We were shown to our table (which I noticed had a stain on the tablecloth) and then we were deserted, we were sat there for a good 15 minutes before anyone came...

This is my local, I have been coming here for many years. The views are outstanding. The service is terrible. The food barely average. We came here yesterday to look at it with fresh eyes as a potential wedding venue. We come here frequently, at least once a month to have a drink , sit and admire the view. However...

Our son and daughter in law got married here on 2nd july. We were delighted with everything that this lovely family run hotel did to make their day special. Their service was personal and the staff excellent. The food was super from breakfast to lunch and the lovely wedding breakfast. Nothing was too much for the staff. Thank you everyone...

Went for a meal here whilst holidaying in Brixham. The car park was full so ended up parking in the Shoalstone pool car park. Although car park full this was due to a private function which did not disrupt our visit. Staff were amazing and very friendly, but food was nothing special, especially for the cost. Was a good £30...

We visited the Berry Head Hotel yesterday, what a lovely day for sitting outside. Nearly every table was full of dishes etc., everybody that wanted to sit outside was moving dishes and plates around, before they could sit down and order drinks & food etc., Waiters came out to deliver food and went back with empty trays, leaving tables full...

Stayed here before and visited many times previously both for a drink and for meals. The views are stunning across the bay and there's nothing better than sitting on the terrace when the sun's out. Doesn't seem to have the magic that it had 20+ years ago though. The food on our last visit didn't live up to expectations but...
