First visit for Sunday lunch with friends. Really enjoyed the food. Chips were excellent. Generous portions. Steak pies were excellent according to my friends. Intend to return. Quaint hotel next to the old castle ruins.

We stayed here for a winter weekend away. It was a very pleasant break. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. There were a few cobwebs around the beams, adding to the historic feel of the place.

I can confirm from personal experience that this Inn is dog friendly. I don't know the answer to your other questions. Why not email them directly? I had a query and they answered.
