This was my third time in staying at Meadowlea, having embarked on the Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route for the third time, making Okehampton my first stop. This time I upgraded to a twin room with en-suite facilities, both the room and en-suite were clean, superb and perfect. Once again Mark & Lesley made me feel very welcome again.

We stayed one night to have a driving break. Lesley and Mark were very hospitable. and made time to have chat at breakfast. We were pleased with the large room, especially as it was on ground floor, and was generously equipped. Food was excellent and it was near to the shops etc. Would recommend the guest house for a good...

Lesley and Mark make you feel most welcome in their lovely B&B. Three of us recently stayed in two rooms for a friends wedding. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It really is only 5 minutes from the town (maybe only 4 minutes to to the town as it's downhill). Vegetarian breakfast options are available, and the breakfasts...

I have stayed here 3 times and have found it very friendly. I have relatives in the town and it is a good base for me. I will be visiting again in November. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a base for business or leisure.

This is the second time we've stayed here. On both occasions we have been very well looked and have received a warm welcome. The first time we arrived on our bicycles and they were kept safe in a garage. This time we arrived for a walking weekend. The premises is very clean and very good value for money. I'd have...

if you're cycling the coast to coast this is the perfect place for a stopover. Great hospitality, brilliant room and breakfast. Close to all amenities. What could be better? Bikes locked up safely, and Meadowlea has that as well.
