We stayed here from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th February, we booked the Saddle Room which was a large suite in the grounds behind the main building. The accommodation was spotless and there was lots of space. The Inn served bar food and A La Carte in the Restaurant. We had our evening meals in the restaurant on both nights...

Having never had a break with our westie we were very apprehensive as to what to expect. On arrival at the Bearslake we immediately felt at ease. The staff greeting was wonderful. Our room was perfect as was the food and drink on offer. If only the weather had been dry we would have taken advantage of the amazing walks...

We came here last week for lunch, and what can I say "WOW" the Christmas dec's were amazing, I can definitely say a visit over the Christmas period is needed!! The food was exceptional with lots of choice, the bar staff were extremely friendly and inviting and so were the waitresses/waiters, nothing was too much trouble for them, even when...

Me and my girlfriend visited the Bears Lake inn for some lunch last week. On arrival we ordered some food at the bar, the two waitresses were extremely rude. Something else caught our eye on the menu and we changed our mind. A simple cancel button on the till and the waitress made it very clear she was not happy....

The experience your have described is completely out of character for all of our team and a real concern to me. I will be discussing this in detail with the whole team to establish just what went so wrong and...

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Friendly staff. Very comfortable room and some really nice food. Situated on edge of Dartmoor just off main road down to Cornwall so handy place to stop off on route to the far west. Room was part of annexe across the garden where wifi just about managed with huge bed. Massive breakfast and...

We have had lunch here twice recently. Each time the food was good, the welcome warm and the beer well kept. On our first visit we walked first on the Granite Way and brought our very large dog with us; he was made welcome too. It is good to have a range of food on offer from light snacks and...

Had a lovely lunch here, the inn is very cosy inside, with a great selection of food on offer for lunch and dinner, we had soup and sandwiches and they were excellent, the ale is also very good and well looked after, the pint of Otter tasted great. Loved the Christmas decorations. We will be back

We stayed here the first week of November, the room was a good size with a good en suite and was all spotless with lovely linen. The restaurant food was fantastic and there were lovely walks through glorious Devon countryside....would thoroughly recommend.
