We visited the hotel after a lovely walk on Dartmoor. We have passed the sign for the hotel many times and our curiosity finally got the better of us! A lovely tree lined drive brought us to a little confusing entrance, it did feel as though we were driving into someone's farm, clearer signage would be beneficial for the first...

We love this place - this was our second trip and we also brought my husband's parents - the mix of elegance with comfort is fantastic and once again we were pleasantly surprised by the food quality - and they are so nice about difficult guests like me (gluten free pescatarian). We had terrible weather but sitting in the living...

We booked this hotel at the last minute as little holiday to spend some time with our dog benji , the hotel was easy to find and the country side was beautiful , We arrived at the hotel and the weather was dreadful, as soon as we arrived in reception we were asked if we would like a cup of...

Wonderful weekend spent at Prince Hall. Relaxing atmosphere, beautifully appointed rooms, friendly staff and food out of this world. Views of the moors are wonderful and you can walk for miles from the hotel. This hotel is down to earth, welcomes dogs and provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. There are no words to adequately describe the delicious...

I was part of a group of a dozen middle-aged friends (6 couples) spending a reunion weekend at this small secluded hotel. Such a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and superb food. Exceedingly dog friendly with endless towels in the porch and biscuits at reception. If you are looking for a place to "get away and unwind" this is the...

Well, Annon and spouse, on recommendation from a dear friend, packed up the car, through the mad pup into the boot and pushed on down to Two Bridges to the Prince Hall Hotel for a two nighter. Well, have we found a little piece of Heaven! Tucked away down a long tree lined drive is this lovely country house hotel...

Having two dogs we struggle to find a good hotel that is dig friendly. This hotel is at the very top of my list. The setting is magical and we were lucky enough to arrive just after the snowfall. The owners are great and the food magnificent. You can even get a dog sitter if you need one.

Roaring log fires, breathtaking scenery, superb service and original/mouth-watering menus. Consistently our favourite venue for Sunday lunch, whether with friends or just the two of us. I hear that dinner and hotel stays are just as wonderful.

A wonderful place to spend a New Year break. The New Year's Eve meal and 'casino' afterwards was perfect. There is a real house party atmosphere in this place - small enough to get to know people over two days but large enough to keep to yourself if you wish. The meals were perfect in taste and size and nothing...

Fabulous food, friendly helpful staff, great location and a perfect dog friendly hotel. We have stayed their more than once and will definitely return. The walks onto the moor are magnificent. We have had great weather when we have been there but low cloud or fog may be more prevalent given the hotel's height and position in Dartmoor. We took...
