We have visited Stowford many times over the years but our visit in November 2016 was to be our last. We decided to have a lazy Saturday on the 19th and stay on site and walk the dogs around the several dog exercise areas. What we didn't expect was to be caught up in the middle of a fox hunt....

John, in light of our recent conversation that resulted in you being asked to remove your caravan and you no longer being welcome at Stowford, I am disheartened to read this vengeful and inaccurate review. For the benefit of both staff and guests, we have clearly made the correct decision in terminating your caravan storage agreement.

Stayed at stowford for a couple nights in our camper and had a good experience, the hardstanding pitch's were generously proportioned and the showerblock was modern, clean and tidy, the free wifi was an unexpected bonus. As out of season there was not a great deal to do which we knew before visiting however the pool was still open which...

Stowford has always been wonderful, we have been visiting them for over 10 years now. The people are marvelous they are so helpful. The facilities are great, there are one or two that could be changed but that's only from a disabled persons point ( no disabled toilet/ changing room in the pool building and no hoist or ramp to...

We stayed here in our Campervan for 5 days , on a hard standing pitch, with electric hook up. The site was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The restaurant/pub was a bit pricey for the food that was being served. As you can travel a couple of miles down the road and get something the same a fair bit cheaper....

Very friendly receptionist who explained exactly where we were going and have is a map. First impressions are off a well organised and kept camp site. We were situated in field 5 which appears to be the most recently opened field, we had a hard standing within easy reach of the toilet block. Most of the pitches are sloping so...

If given the choice between here and never holidaying again, I would choose the latter. There are few redeeming features, the place is so large that they can't cater for all the guests adequately. The pool is ok, can't blame the site for the type of clientele it attracts however, when a young teenage boy kept deliberately splashing and walloping...

The title of this review is a little extreme! We are very sorry you didn't enjoy your holiday with us. We will take all your comments into account but feel that some are unfair and untrue.

We found the staff very helpful especially when they allowed us to come a week late after our first visit needed to be cancelled for medical reasons. It is quite a large site divided into sections. The amenity blocks were well maintained and kept very clean. During our visit the WiFi was not working and its worth knowing that mobile...

Spent a week here with our caravan in September, the reception staff I spoke to was not very welcoming or informative considering we had not been there before. it was very busy considering after the school holidays. Very large park, with 7 fields. Pitches were a good size, so didn't feel closed in. The toilet facilities were kept very clean....
