On 3 June 1960 Mary King opened 'Magdala House' in Combe Martin High Street (the longest village high street in Britain). Stayed 4 nights with Katherine and Stuart following a relative last minute booking. The hotel is well situated on the Main Street in Combe Martin. The beach is a short walk away as is access to a magnificent part of the coastal path. There are too many highlights to mention between here and Porlock. The Huntman's inn at Heddon's Mouth... More

I love this property, the people, the atmosphere... I truly believe this is a very special property. We stayed here just recently for 4 nights, with kids in tow... My mother and I also did a mini 2 day detox and Katherine and Stewart did everything possible to make our stay go smoothly.. The bedrooms are large, clean, homely and... More

Fantastic and unique way of staying in Devon. Make sure you take some yoga lessons. Be prepared to eat healthy and get your walking sticks ready because there is a lot to explore. Katherine is great and, as a local, she will answer any question about places and curiosities on the area. Make sure you book a homeopathic session with... More

My husband and I stayed here while hiking the South West Coast Path. The room was spacious, clean and Katherine, our hostess, was helpful and friendly! There is a good pub across the street with equally friendly locals! We ate at an Indian restaurant down the street that was fabulous! Katherine provides a delicious, wholesome, vegetarian breakfast to set you... More

I cannot believe this place is not packed with trip advisor reviews... Their feeback books were full of fantastic reviews of retreats and cleansing stays. Cranleigh House is one of the best B&B's I have ever been too.. I was shown to my room which was huge compared to London shoe boxes. I was invited to attend a Yoga class... More
