Firstly this place is beautiful, its set in the valley of hills. The cabins are really homely, cosy and spacious for what they are. Each cabin has a main bedroom, a twin bedroom and another bed in the living space. You will have to spend about an hour heating the water for the shower with logs on a fire, unless...

Delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, Charlotte. The night time temperatures in early April can be cold but glad that you were able to put our hot water bottles, blankets to good use and get the wood burner fired up. It does keep the lodge wonderfully warm, as does the wood burning boiler at the back, which as...

When I told my children that I was about to review Longlands those were the words that they suggested I use and I concur! There is an attention to detail in both form and function that Bella is to be congratulated on. We loved our sunset dip in the hot-tub with the wonderful views towards the North Devon coast. We...

Neil, Thank you for such a wonderful review. So delighted that you all enjoyed yourselves so much. And particularly pleased that you enjoyed your Sunset Hot Tub and that our new game of "Exploding Kittens" has proved to be such a hit! Quite addictive. You probably didn't get a chance to play Uno, Double, Scrabble, Monopoly, Risk, Cluedo, Draughts, Chess...

Private and secluded. A fantastic lodge and a beautiful countryside. So wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake up to birds singing. The owner, Bella, was so accommodating and helpful and made our stay truly special. A fantastic place for children to explore and for parents to relax. Would highly recommend

This was our second visit to Longlands and we were very excited to be going back. The lodges have everything you could possibly need and are beautifully relaxing. The views from the terrace at the front of the lodge gives a lovely view over the valley and down to the sea, the first night was clear so we got to...

It really is quite a magical spot, with some fantastic views and all the more enjoyable with a glass of bubbly in your hand! We look forward to welcoming you back next year. We'll make...

Firstly, let me say that I hate camping....so wasn't completely convinced about a few days glamping in March!! ....I was completely wrong! Yes, it was freezing cold, but we kept both fires in our lodge burning and were super cosy. I imagined the toilet and shower might, in reality, be a bit too 'rustic' and cold, but both are perfect!...

So pleased we found Longlands, we wanted to get away from the daily grind, wifi, TVs and phones with the dogs and children and get back to basics (please note that there is mobile connection, we just opted to switch ours off!). What a fantastic weekend that we all thoroughly enjoyed, from collecting the wood from the store under our...

The lodges are amazing and so many thoughtful touches through the whole place. Food from the larder was terrific and perfect for the first night and breakfast, the ease of ordering was an extra bonus. The location is great, we went on the beach, for Sunday lunch, an adventure in the grounds at Longlands, Dunster Castle, Arlington Court. Would definitely...
