My reservation was made at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances with a reservation at a different establishment in Combe Martin - in fact, it was the other establishment who actually made this booking for me. I was delighted with the warmth of the reception received, the comfort of the accomodation and the quality of the food which was especially...

I stayed here for 2 nights during my weeklong hike of the Southwest Coast Path. Owners John and Penny made me feel right at home. Upon arrival Penny fixed me a pot of tea and some sweets, and I also received this special favor on Day 2 following another day of hiking. I stayed in Room 1, a large room...

Autumn break, sun shining and a great B & B. Made very welcome on arrival by John with tea and homemade cakes. Cold cider on the balcony soon afterwards. Slept like a log and up to a great breakfast. Thanks to John and Penny.

Visited Combe Martin and stayed at this charming B&B again. Was warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and homemade biscuits. Our room was a standard double, looking to the back of the property with views of the sea. It was very clean and the bathroom was also just as one would expect, had a lovely hot shower in the...

I really wish I'd taken heed of some of the previous views on this b&b. The car parking spaces were indeed for three cars but all had to be parked one behind the other, so if you parked first and had an early start the next day, forget it! Or you'd have to wake up the owners of the other...

Booked this because of the good reviews. When we arrived the owner didn't seem to be expecting guests as he answered the door and just looked at us as if he thought we might be selling something. The room and ensuite were very clean with a nice view, but were small and felt cramped with the amount of furniture in...

Really enjoyed our stay at Mellstock. An excellent base for walkers. John was very accommodating and informative on the local area. He was also happy to drop us off and pick us up from our coast path walks. Breakfast was very good, especially the local ham.

Although we only stayed one night we found this B&B to be spotlessly clean & our room had been newly decorated & a new en suite. It was very quiet & we had a small view of the sea with woodland at the back. John was very obliging, helping us with our luggage & offering tea when we arrived. As...
