This was our fourth stay at Edgecott House and still the same impeccable standard. Comfortable rooms, wonderful little touches, exceptional breakfast with local produce. Exmoor is a delightful place for a walking weekend. We will be back.

We found this place on trip advisor and what a treat it turned out to be. The whole house was immaculate and is in such a lovely setting. Our bedroom and bathroom was so clean I don't think we have stayed anywhere that was any better. All of the decor was lovely and Simon and Penny were the most delightful...

This was a surprise for my birthday which my husband had arranged. He couldn't have chose a better place. The house itself is stunning. Simon and Penny are the perfect hosts. Penny's breakfasts are to die for with such a choice it takes so long to decide!. All the usual has been mentioned in other reviews of how excellent this...

I stayed 2 nights here in early September. It's wonderful! Firstly it's a beautiful building recently and tastefully brought back to life after being empty for a year in about 2009. Secondly the hosts, Penny(catering!) and Simon (front of house) are both really good at their respective roles. Penny, it transpires, used to run a catering company, and it shows....

We stayed at Edgcott House a year ago and thought it excellent. On this occasion we found further cause for congratulations. Arriving, we went through the immaculate house to our delightful bedroom, overlooking the garden, and unpacked. Then we set off for a walk up to the moors. The heavens opened. We returned running with water, with dirty boots and...

I stumbled across Edgcott House whilst looking for accommodation that welcomed pets. What Edgcott house provided far exceeded my expectations. Nestled literally at the foot of the moors in one direction and just 10 minutes by car from Minehead and the coast it is shrouded with stunning scenery. The house and cottage were completely renovated in 2009 and boast cleanliness...

We have just returned from Edgcott House and can't recommend it highly enough. The house is lovingly looked after and a pleasure to spend time in. Our bedroom (room 1) was spacious and very comfortable. The bed very comfy and also the pillows which often let a place down. Toiletries ample and unusual. Most welcome to return from a day...

This B&B had a great location, we did a round trip walk to Tarr Steps, it was a short drive to Dunster castle and it took 10 minutes to wander to a lovely pub. The breakfasts were great, and the choice of breakfast was incredible-I suggest going for something other than the full english-you can get a great full english...

Such a nice place to stay, the owners have got it just right and the breakfast was fantastic. We will go back, we had a very relaxing break, and would recommend this place without hesitation :) the pubs in the village are a short easy walk away so we had no problem getting a delicious evening meal.
