Off the beaten track so a car is a must. A beautiful and peaceful place in which to relax and enjoy the garden, delicious, locally sourced food and the services of the dedicated staff. Young children not catered for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Rectory and would love to go back. Sam and Huw are very welcoming, the food is fantastic, the wines good and the hotel is set in beautiful countryside and has been very well refurbished.

Just what we expected and more, a relaxed, peaceful break. The food was delicious beautifully presented and served. The hotel has lovely grounds to wander in and the Orangery has lots of comfortable sofas and chairs to lounge and chat to other guests. Just the job to recharge the batteries.

Our second visit, breaking the journey to Cornwall. A delightful venue where we hope to stay longer next year. Any slight issues were speedily and happily resolve, nothing was too much trouble for the first class hosts.
