This was my 10th visit to Ashbury and what superb value as always. The golf courses are excellent and suitable for all standards. The greens are very well maintained and a pleasure to play. The hotel is basic but has all the requirements of a golf hotel for the evening, snooker tables galore, table tennis as well as many other...

We spent 3 nights at Ashbury Golf Hotel for a surprise birthday party. There were 18 of us, this made the break great fun. The rooms are basic, it looks like it needs some TCL and redecorating. We brought our own pillows. However on a positive note the food was plentiful and of good quality considering the amount of people...

really disgusting hotel, wouldn't recommend, never EVER going back there, it was so old, rooms were dull, activities were rubbish, instructors and staff were rude, food was decent, but apart from that it was horrible.

Had a great time golfing and the weather was dry for most of the week which was a big bonus. The room was suitable but my only grumble would be the mosquitos in the room!!! Food was ok. If you think Iceland you won't be disappointed! Oh the chocolate brownie pudding was amazing! Lots of kids ... as was half...

We stayed in the farm house, strong smell of sewage odour reported it but no one came so not sorted. Once the door was closed it was ok we were only there for three nights so could not be bothered to demand we move, that said this was our only niggle. The rest is fab, courses well kept greens fast buggies...

The hotel has lots to offer and is an excellent resort if you have children. The rooms are tired., dated all the walls and ceiling have 'artex' on them with brown doors it has the fell of the 1950's. Our television had a tiny screen and was difficult to see if you were lying on your bed. The beds were...

4 nights away for 3 guys and their better halves. We played 3 rounds of golf, plus air rifles and snooker. The girls did Tai Chi, candle making and crazy golf. Together we did pool, a quiz, skittles, 10 pin, archery, table tennis, badminton and darts. Excellent food (buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner). Complimentary wine on first night and reasonable...

This is the third time I have visited Ashbury and I have nothing but praise for all the staff and facilities. Dinner is now buffet rather than wait-on this year but the food is still wholesome and a good standard. All the staff were most helpful especially the Pro Shop who assisted us with tee time changes and gave loads...
