Spent three nights at the Ashbury between Xmas and New Year. If you are looking for lots of activities then this is the place for you. We are not golfers who would really appreciate this place but for others their is still much on offer. On the plus side we should congratulate the staff as without exception they were a...

We have been coming to the Ashbury Hotel for their Twixmas break for 11 year as a mixed family group ranging in age from 93 to 1 year old. Sadly this year will be our last as certain things made the break just slightly worse than in previous years. Notably the place has just got busier and busier to the...

Took a 3 night break here for New Year and we all enjoyed ourselves. Food is excellent, staff helpful and polite, our room was clean and accommodated for all needs. The beds were comfy and quiet at night where we stayed (Moorview) There are lots of activities available. If I had to find something that could be improved it would...

Stayed from Tuesday to Friday between Christmas and New Year. Have been to Manor before but unable to get in as left it so late to book. 2 adults and 2 older teenagers shared a 4 bedded room- ideal with small TV, tea/coffee/hot chocolate in room, 1 bath and 1 hand towel each. Quiet rooms, no problem with sleeping. Smaller...

Had stayed at The Manor several times, but not at The Ashbury thinking it was mainly for golfers. Booked at short notice and as The Manor was full, accepted rooms at The Ashbury. Had sole use of twin room. (There were 3 of us and we all like our own rooms). Room was spacious with lots of storage space. Reasonable...

On arrival in the car park, the approach isn't inspiring but ignore that. Once inside, the welcome was warm with most staff being very helpful and friendly. We took advantage of the deal of a value buffet lunch, at just £5 you don't expect much but the food was all fresh, tasty and varied. Be sure not to miss out....

This was my 10th visit to Ashbury and what superb value as always. The golf courses are excellent and suitable for all standards. The greens are very well maintained and a pleasure to play. The hotel is basic but has all the requirements of a golf hotel for the evening, snooker tables galore, table tennis as well as many other...

We spent 3 nights at Ashbury Golf Hotel for a surprise birthday party. There were 18 of us, this made the break great fun. The rooms are basic, it looks like it needs some TCL and redecorating. We brought our own pillows. However on a positive note the food was plentiful and of good quality considering the amount of people...
