Stayed for 2 nights on the 10th July. Brought back a lot of great memories and took a walk to "The Bench" on the headland, and then down to see the actual "The Bench" (famous local fishing spot !!) where I proposed to my good wife. Mark and Dee were outstanding hosts and made us all so welcome, a great... More

The Rockleigh House is ideally situated in Mortehoe village, a lovely B&B with friendly hosts make it a perfect place to stay. Breakfast is lovely, and they have the added bonus of running a scrumptious take away so easy to cater for your evening meals if you don't want to leave the B&B!! Would certainly recommend this little gem

I know Mortehoe reasonably well, but had not stayed at Rockleigh house before. It is perfect in every way. Right in the middle of the village, all of twenty yards from the Ship Inn, with its own parking. Rooms are compact, but not small. Only three rooms in the place and excellent hosts. Breakfast was just spot on - cooked... More

This is a great little bed and breakfast. Our Room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with bath and shower. We had a great view over the pretty village of Mortehoe. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty.

I only use inverted commas as it's not my home, but the food could well be (albeit with my excellent resident cook - aka wife - at the helm). Rockleigh is a consistent location for meals for our family; we've been coming here off-peak and on-peak for as long as it's been open, and we love the food. You can... More

Mark and Dee are very welcoming but discreet hosts. Our bed was super-comfortable as well as super-sized. Dee's full English breakfast kept us going all day, until it was time for her delicious takeaway meals in the evening. All the sauces are gluten-free (and there are luscious gluten-free brownies), which makes Rockleigh House a haven for coeliacs. The area is... More

Me and my 85 yr old dad stayed at this small but perfectly formed B&B for 3 nights in June. Mortehoe is a very pretty village and well sited to explore the surrounding area. The B&B ticks all the boxes, rooms feel and look very comfortable, tasteful knick-knacks and furnishings. I had a bath with shower over, my dad on... More

B&B was very clean & comfortable and had everything you require. Mark and Dee very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and would have loved to try their home-made take away meals as the menu looked delicious. Didn't have chance to as were only there for 1 night. Would have liked to stay longer but they were fully booked for... More

Rockleigh House is a brilliant B&B and Mark & Dee made us feel so welcome during our 4 night stay. Our room (the Square Room) was comfortable and clean and had all the amenities including free WiFi.
