I stayed here with my 5 year old and we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely time. The hotel couldn't be better located. Highly recommended - very quiet even with children around if you're wondering! If you have never stayed in Shaldon before, parking is a nightmare so it was great to have a space in the hotel's small...

Lovely little place in a lovely location overlooking a bowling green sounds peaceful and it certainly was. Most wonderful owners and staff they became immediate old friends as soon as you met them, breakfast to die for, cooked fresh after ordering.

I stayed in the nirvana cottage, only for one night unfortunately, it would have been a great place to stay longer. The cottage would be a great place for a long stay, it had everything you needed for a self catering stay with breakfast thrown in! Comfortable and clean. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu I had...

The cottage has everything we needed a kitchen with all the appliances you need for a holiday. Robert and Lyn gave us a fantastic breakfast each morning which set us up for the day. This is an excellent bed and breakfast hotel. The breakfasts were delicious, the room was spotless and very comfortable and there were some personal touches such as fresh milk in a thermos for tea in the bedroom. Within easy walking distance of three very good eating places.

This was the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless, bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was first class. There were good tea making facilities including fresh milk in a thermos and water bottles replaced each day. The breakfast offered a wide choice and was cooked perfectly. The dining room was a comfortable setting to...

The room , the service and the hospitality were spot on. I'd booked ahead, but found myself ahead of schedule on my coast path walk. Not a problem though, as the owners were very flexible and rescheduled the night before to accommodate me. The room was even better than expected, and they even made me a bacon sandwich to take...

Stayed in one of the cottages on site for the weekend and it was lovely. We were there to celebrate a close friends 50th birthday and we were treated really well. Rooms were spacious, light and airy. Lovely bathroom with rainfall shower too! The breakfast in the morning was awesome with plenty of choice too. Highly recommended

This was a last minute booking on a Monday afternoon. The key to the room was available within 5 minutes of making the booking over the internet. Fresh milk was provided without having to ask with a good range of drinks available including hot chocolate (family joke as this is so often not on offer particularly in the big chains)....
