Thoroughly enjoyed a delicious 7 course lunch. Everything ran smoothly, the staff were friendly and professional. Being a home cook, I thoroughly enjoy tasting other people's creations! I would never criticise, so considering the number of meals the kitchen produced, I think the

There are so many wonderful things I can say about this hotel but I’m afraid my review would be far too long, so I’ll keep it brief. Me, my boyfriend and our little 7month old pup travelled from Cambridge to Devon for my birthday get away. On arrival the staff were nothing

Not all rooms have walk in showers. We requested a walk in shower, and were allocated one on arrival. However, that room had no balcony. We moved after the first night to a room on floor 3 which had a balcony, great views, walk in shower, sitting area and fridge, BUT we paid an £80 per night supplement! I hope this helps.

Are dogs allowed on the beach in the summertime?
We were told yes, but lots of beaches at Salcombe that were dog friendly. The hotel has a wonderful list of dog friendly beaches.

The hotel is so professional that if you do not want to be in a room close to a dog just tell them. In the times that we have stayed we have never heard a dog bark or cause any problem

Yes, the hotel has lifts. The ground floor may be accessed via the garage entrance, so don't be put off by the front steps. There may also be lift access from the lower parking lot - I have not explored there. We had a sea-view room on 1st floor with lift access to that floor. The same lift also went down to the swimming pool area.
