Really quiet cottage, lovely open view across the fields towards the River Taw. Plenty of wildlife to see. Warm and friendly welcome from owners including a cream tea on arrival. Children's play lawn on site. Cottage was extremely clean and tidy. Garage and shop two minutes up the road.

Stayed here for a week at the end of June 2016. Lovely greeting on arrival and a cream tea left for us. As requested they had left us a blackout blind, highchair, booster seat, stairgate and travel cot to use. There was also a selection of children's toys and DVDs. Fantastic views over the fields, small play area in walled... More

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so pleased to hear that you had a lovely stay with us in North Devon. We try to be as family friendly as possible - we know travelling with small children can be stressful! We hope to welcome you back again one day in the future. Kind Regards, Johnathan Andrew More

We had a lovely stay in the meadow view cottage. It was reasonably equipped, spacious in some rooms and have amazing views. I did hit my head on the main bedroom ceiling a few times due to the lack of headroom however. Its a rather odd layout in the cottage since you would expect the 1 bedroom to be upstairs... More

I have to say this is the best place we've stayed in a long time. The cottage was well equipped, clean, peaceful and homely. I loved the open plan interior with the exposed beams. A great place to get away from it all and relax, especially with the beautiful scenery. The Andrew family made us feel very welcome and the... More

What a wonderful place to stay! we spent a week at Taw Valley Cottage in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was our first family holiday with our 6 week old daughter and the cottage was perfect. The owners even bought black out blinds for the single room so our baby could sleep soundly. Cream tea on arrival was wonderful.... More
