Lovely hotel lots of charm & character. The staff were very friendly. The car park is very small, but we managed to park our car in it. We stayed in the coach house in a ground floor room and we could hear the floorboards creaking with the people staying above. Nice tea & coffee facilities, dressing gowns and bath sheets...

Spent two nights here. Nice suprise to get room upgraded (thanks!). Although we didn't have dinner, breakfast was very good- particularly eggs benedict and eggs royale. Lovely old hotel in a great location. Only thing that would have made it better would be a better shower but that wouldn't stop me going back.

Just back from a lovely weekend at Bridge House hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, with lovely interiors and grounds, all immaculate. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights and on each night the food was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the stay was marred by the fact that we could hear every move, every word and the tv from the...

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. It is clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into the decor of the hotel; in the public areas and bedrooms. The chef, Dan, serves up a lovely breakfast and our dinner was outstanding. Scallops followed by Sea bass then white chocolate and ginger cheesecake -...

Two days away in an excellent boutique hotel. Room was large - King size bed - and airy. Restaurant relatively formal with an unusual and pleasing menu. Friendly efficient staff. Somewhere to return to.

What a fabulous place. Our room 7 was lovely. Huge bed. Great food both dinner and breakfast. Lots of positives here and we would return BUT the hotel needs to address the servers. As ever they employ kids and they don't really have a clue it's not their fault but if you advertise as a 3* hotel the servers need...

We have just returned from a really fabulous one night stay at the Bridge House Hotel. The staff were very helpful and charming and we loved the fact that there was a note with our dogs name on it along with two dog treats and a dog towel to use. The bedroom was amazing with a four poster bed...thank you...

The rooms I saw (3) all look of a good standard although my room and bed was smaller out of the three. The best room was the one in the house (not the Coach House) however it was a more expensive room. A good selection of freshly cooked breakfast choices were available. We did have to wait a while to...

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Pet friendly, supplying towels and treats for them. One of the most comprehensive and delicious breakfast menus I've seen. Evening meals a bit pricey but very good. Lovely walks in the area
