On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Georgia and we went to our room We spent three nights at The West Bay Hotel and had a fantastic time! Our room was huge, beautifully decorated, containing a king size bed and a large en- suite. It was immaculate and the room was serviced everyday. We had three evening meals at The West Bay Hotel and they were superbly cooked so our thanks go to the chefs! Brilliant! The bar staff, Colin, Rory, Sarah and Georgia were highly efficient and very friendly. Credit must go to Karen, the manager, for running such a fabulous hotel. We loved it! Thank you from Kevin and Richard.

Having scrutinised most of the eating establishment menus at West Bay we settled on having lunch here, we were not disappointed, excellent menu at very reasonable prices and the quantity and quality of food received was amazing. Will definately return when next back in West Bay.

Visited the West Bay Hotel two nights on the trot for early evening drinks before we headed out to dinner. Was pleasantly surprised by their beer gardens, very nice and welcoming. Staff are lovely and make you feel right at home. Recommend a visit for a drink if you’re nearby!

So pleased to be able to say that the West Bay is open again AND under new management. The legendary local that is Colin is now managing the place and has got off to a flying start. The bar and seating is SPOTLESS and the service is friendly and attentive as I’d expect. The beer is spot on and obviously being well looked after. Great beer garden and set up (responsible Covid measures). Happy to fully endorse and recommend for all, families, couples, those with mobility needs, dogs and all. Guaranteed a warm welcome and if you’re not local speak to the staff and they will give you a low down on West Bay and all it has to offer.

Surprise treat for my mum's 70th birthday. All the staff were friendly and welcoming (but not overly intrusive) and we received an especially warm welcome from the manager who made a point of wishing her a happy birthday. Our room was very nice - spacious, clean and with a lovely bathroom. The beds were really comfortable, and the hotel was peaceful, so we slept well. The dinner was fantastic! We enjoyed a top-quality seafood paella and fish and chips with very tasty haddock and shared a Dorset cheeseboard for dessert. The wine was decent too. We intend to go back again another time. Highly recommend it.
