We recently re visited this pub knowing it had new owners, Tracy & Amy made us so welcome, the food was fabulous, attention to detail was amazing and I even had homemade almond milk made for me as I cannot eat dairy. The rooms are still wonderful and comfortable. We would highly recommend anyone staying here if you want a...

A perfect couple of nights with an excellent dinner, plus two delicious breakfasts with a special soft boiled egg and sausage especially prepared for our dachshund (sausage dog of course) KC, thank you Amy. Tracey and Amy couldn't have been more welcoming to the 3 of us and nothing was too much trouble. A warm welcome in the hills of...

Friday night - decent pint of stout and a homemade 'Aztec' Scotch Egg with side of Chilli jam and Homemade piccalilli. What more could a working man way? Great atmosphere too and bar staff friendly and sparky as ever. Best pub around for (and by) miles.

Just back from a lovely weekend in rural Dorset staying at The Three Horseshoes Inn. Tracey and Amie were warm and friendly just like the pub itself. Ourselves and our young teenage children enjoyed two lovely home cooked dinners in the bar with log fires burning. Just as good in the room next door were the hearty breakfasts. It was...

Hi Chris, We enjoyed looking after you and your lovely family for the weekend. Good to see a teenager who loved our vegetarian Bean Chili with Raw Cacao - very impressive! We look forward to seeing you again and thankyou for the comments we are trying to establish the Shoes as a fabulous rural getaway destination. Tracey

This was a cheeky little weekend break with our puppy and was well worth the magical mystery tour around the narrow Dorset lanes to get there. The room was spacious and well appointed with beautiful views and even included treats for the dog and a non spill water bowl. The food is imaginative and locally sourced with generous portions. With...

My wife and I rented a cottage just across the road from this pub and had three meals whilst on holiday. After travelling on the Saturday morning for about 2 hours we went straight to the pub for lunch. We found the owners very warm and friendly and enjoyed the food very much although we both felt the pub was...

Dear Dave2906, Thankyou for your lovely review, we are sorry you found the bar a little cold at Lunchtime on the Saturday, as you know we have only been in situ for a few months and we have recognised that the current heating set up is not sufficient enough for the size of the room, we are looking at how...

Visiting friends in nearby Bridport we needed a B&B for the night. We hit the jackpot with this beautiful country inn. Amazing scenery, spacious, beautifully decorated room and staff so friendly they made you feel like family. A shandy in the sunny beer garden looking out at amazing views was a highlight. Breakfast was superb with many extra little touches...

My husband and I booked to stay the night of 21 December 2016 here after dropping our grandchildren back to Dorset. Our son and his wife met us at the "Shoes" and we had a family meal to celebrate Christmas. Tracey and Amie welcomed us warmly and made us feel extremely comfortable. The food is off the scale of deliciousness...

I called in for lunch while country walking with the dog. Made very welcome by friendly chatty landlady who has been installed only 9 weeks ago. Food was simple but filling, with a glass of crisp white wine. Landlady has positive plans to refurbish and revive the pub owned by local brewery. Good luck with that, I'll be back for...

Tracy made us feel so welcome. Pub was beautiful. Food- wonderful. We had the cod & chips, shepherd's pie and roast beef. All beautifully cooked, locally sourced and outstandingly tasty. Palmers Ale was enjoyed by my father in law who loves his beer. Stunning countryside to boot. Thank you.
