This was reasonable, warm, attentive and breakfast was delicious. The offer of tea on arrival from Michelle was sadly one cup to many for us after a wonderful day meandering in Lyme Regis, but the cork screw proved very useful. ( They will happily chill bottles and the mini fridge in the room is a nice touch for the provided...

I can forgive the fact that no-one was in when I had specifically asked for a 4.30 arrival time despite having to hang around for an hour until a neighbour let me in. I can ignore the noisy pipes and floorboards which kept me awake most of the night. I can even forgive the hard, grey towels and tired decor...

Just back from three nights at the White House in Bridport. We chose this B & B as it is 20 minutes walk from both Bridport centre and West Bay which suited us just fine. We were there for the Bridport Hat Festival which was great fun and we had a fantastic weekend. Michelle and Steve made us very welcome...

We only stayed the one night for the Bridport Hat festival, we wished we had stayed much longer. Steve and Michelle were extremely efficient and friendly and the beds were so comfortable. The tea making options were well presented. We particularly appreciated their facility for providing fresh milk any time of the day. The breakfast was equal to that provided...

Just to say that we were given the chance to have a day/night off from looking after our kids. After urming and arring where to go, we decided to ring the White house as we have seen it on Channel Fours 'Three in a bed'. It was an excellent nights stay with superb hosts michelle & steve. The latter cooking...

The White House, Bridport is a little family run B&B with only 4 rooms. The friendly atmosphere is outstanding. Ensuite room with flatscreen TV little fridge and of course tea facilities. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast, the choice of which included frappe, poached egges, salmon, makerel, kippers and the biggest pan cakes with maple syrup I have...

We have just spent 4 nights at The White House, in Bridport. This is, undoubtedly, the best B & B we have ever stayed in and being retired, we have stayed in quite a few. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and Michelle and Steve could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our...

The White House is a relaxed and informal family run bed and breakfast. Situated in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, England's first natural world heritage site, a unique 95 mile stretch of coast line. We are just a few minutes walk to the town centre and historic Harbour, and the fabulous breath taking Jurassic beaches, but also far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Of course for those of you who wish we are only a short drive to shopping centres such as Exeter, Yeovil, Dorchester, and of course Weymouth - home of the 2012 Olympic Games sailing events. All of us at the White House will endeavor to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The house is a classic 260 years old (Georgian) style. ... more   less
