Stayed here for two nights recently, after a late booking. First thing to bowl us over was the warm and friendly welcome from Pauline with a cup of tea and some delicious homemade cake. The room was clean, bed and pillows very comfortable and breakfast was sublime. A great location with stunning views and walks from the doorstep to Eype,...

My wife and I have just spent 3 nights at Highway Farm B&B while attending a wedding at nearby Symondsbury, which is a delightful village and has a lovely thatched roof pub, serving great meals. Our hosts Pauline and John at Highway Farm were very warm, friendly and very welcoming and made our stay most enjoyable. Our accommodation at Highway...

Ideally located close to Bridport, the sea and the beautiful countryside, Highway Farm is ideal as a base from which to explore this beautiful county. Well appointed accommodation in a self-contained two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage with self-catering facilities. Beautiful view over a valley and small lake with hills, fields and woods on the other side. Although close to the A35, very...

I enjoy photography as a hobby and Colmer's Hill at sunrise has been on my 'to-do' list for some time. As one of my recent birthday presents, my wife treated me to a two night stay at Highway Farm which is set nicely back from the A35 and sits almost directly underneath the Hill. Perfect location then! We were greeted...

I chose Highway Farm because of its location as my husband had always wanted to photograph Colmer's Hill at sunrise. It turned out to be a perfect base, not only for Colmer's Hill but also for the surrounding area. We stayed two nights and were made to feel very welcome. Pauline and John were perfect hosts, even before we arrived...

My husband and I plus son and daughter-in-law had a wonderful mini break in January in Ganders Cottage, and were immediately bowled over by the warm welcome (even home made cake and tea on arrival). The cosy cottage is delightfully furnished with glorious views and is well equipped with comfortable beds, quality bedding and every home comfort. We had fabulous...

My wife and I recently visited Highway Farm for a 3 day 'mini-moon' following our wedding. We were looking for somewhere cosy, quiet, and intimate and it ticked all of the boxes. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable as was the whole house which generally has a warm homely feel. Owners Pauline and John are very welcoming and have...

Pauline welcomed us with a delicious cup of tea and homemade cake. The views from the breakfast room are breathtaking. Our room was very comfortable with a spacious en suite bathroom. A hearty cooked breakfast greeted us the next morning, delicious and plentiful.

Breakfast....most important on a B&B stay! Local sausages, bacon and home-made bread and jam and marmalade, eggs from the chicks in the orchard, and lots of freshly brewed coffee.....and a fruity surprise, if you're lucky, and taken in the garden on a sunny morning.... Thank you for your kind review, much appreciated.
