Excellent location five mins walk to the beach, lovely sea and countryside views from the Hotel. We had dinner in the Hotel on one night but as there is an abundance of places to eat nearby we chose to eat out on our other night.

I have just returned from a 2-night break with 2 other couples, at this family-run hotel and it was such a lovely experience. The hotel is about 5 mins from the sea, but some rooms do have a sea view, or look over rolling countryside. We had 2 nights DB&B - the food was excellent. Breakfast was very nice too...

Delightful stay, friendly and accommodating, beautfil surroundings and terrific food. Even had proper beer in the bar on tap. Ideal spot to go and relax, sightsee and leave the cares of the world behind. Family run and that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. We'll certainly be back.

We have recently returned from a short break staying at the Eype’s Mouth Country Hotel, we stayed with a group of friends and we had booked the whole hotel. We are a group of dancers who also enjoy walking so the hotel was perfect for us. We walked each day and danced each evening after dinner. The dance floor was...

We have stayed at this peaceful hotel several times and found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect and the views stunning. It is a short walk down to the sea and The Coastal Path. Our evening meals have been excellent and the breakfasts fantastic. The hotel is gradually being modernised but the rooms and...

This hotel was warm and welcoming to our family, with two children aged 10 & 11 and our little dog. The location is superb and it was a short walk down to the shingle beach so we immediately felt we were away from it all. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the dining room waiting staff who were...

Having seen a postcard view of the beach, we decided to have a look at it. A narrow winding road led us to it. The beach is spectacular. The hotel is a short distance up above it and we were most impressed with it. We had an excellent light lunch out on the upper terrace and couldn't have had better...

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights this week. We used it as a base for walking the stunning coastal path. Set in the small Dorset village of Eype, near Bridport, Eype's Mouth Country Hotel is a family run 17 bedroom hotel. With superb sea views and only a few minutes walk to the beach, the hotel occupies a unique position on the Heritage Coastline. This stunning location, recently filmed Broadchurch television drama, provides the opportunity to walk along the Coastal Path with much to explore and observe for the keen rambler, ornithologist, anthropologist or geologist.Overlooking Lyme Bay and the beautiful coastal path, the Restaurant offers a three course table d'hote menu with plenty of choice for each course. Changed daily, the menu is created by Chef to take advantage of the locally produced foods and includes specialities such as locally caught fish, superb meats and fruit and vegetable farm produce from just north of Bridport. The Admirals Bar is located on the ground floor and open all day to residents. Perfect for pre-dinner drinks, sit and relax over a well deserved aperitif and a few nibbles and peruse the menu.
